    摘要: An exemplary embodiment of an inductive electrical sensor assembly includes a hollow housing structure defining an open space within the housing structure and a circuit board mounted in the open space. The circuit board includes an inductive sense area. A flexible metal domed spring structure is mounted over the inductive sensor area. A stem portion extends from a actuator area of the housing structure and having a distal end disposed adjacent to or in contact with the spring structure. The domed spring structure is adapted to be flexed toward the inductive sensor area by force exerted by the stem portion when a user exerts force on the actuator area, the flexing of the domed spring structure resulting in a change of inductance of the inductive sensor area which may be sensed to indicate an actuator push. An exemplary embodiment of the sensor assembly may include a resiliently deformable potting material substantially filling open spaces in the hollow housing structure between the top surface and the circuit board, and an open space below the circuit board, enabling flexure of the domed spring structure while providing environmental protection.

    摘要: The invention relates to an inductive sensor unit having one or more sensor coils, which have been mounted on a printed circuit board in a planar manner. According to the invention, a change in the inductance of the sensor coils caused by leakage currents in the conductive actuator is correlated with the position of the actuator with regard to the distance from the sensor coil and with the overlapping of the sensor (at a fixed distance). This provides the basis for an inductive momentary contact switch and an inductive position switching device. The invention also relates to the evaluation of the inductance, e.g. of the momentary contact switch such as in inductive proximity switches by incorporating the inductive sensors in an oscillating circuit. Alternatively, the change in inductance can also be detected by a reactance measurement. A relative evaluation of the influence of adjacent sensor coils is carried out in position switching devices.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a circuit arrangement for adjustment of the triggering point of the keys in an inductive keyboard. The keyboard consists essentially of a printed circuit board designed in a matrix-like manner, comprising coils superimposed upon each other, into which a ferrite pin plunges when a key is actuated. By the cooperation of a pulse generator with a current switch which can be influenced through control lines, said cooperation being controllable by a microcomputer, a current pulse is coupled from one coil to another coil and is recognized as a readout signal by a controllable readout amplifier and is conducted further to a central unit. The adjustment of the triggering point of the keys is accomplished by varying the steepness of the driving current pulse, for example, by means of a blocking time duration in the charging of a capacitor determined only once, which durations are stored in a table of values, or it is derived from the fundamental interlinked signals of the keys.

The variable inductor biases the actuating element in an undepressed position, and depressing the actuating element compresses the variable inductor and changes its inductance. A detector circuit electrically coupled to the inductor senses the change in inductance and provides a signal indicating that the actuating element has been depressed.
