Abstract:
A notebook computer that has a document holding function includes an upper cover and a base. The upper cover includes a screen and an image pickup device. The base includes a keyboard and a touchpad. A touchpad chassis is disposed under the touchpad and connected with a bottom surface of the touchpad. A fixing recess is formed in an edge surface of the touchpad chassis for holding the document. A rotatable frame is disposed under the touchpad for overturning the touchpad chassis. As such, a shooting angle is defined between the image pickup device and the document held in the fixing recess.
Abstract:
An image display system includes: an image input apparatus and an image display apparatus connected thereto that displays an image obtained. The image input apparatus includes an image pickup unit, a movable holding unit selectively brought into an imaging state or a non-imaging state and a state detection unit. A control unit brings the image input apparatus and the image display apparatus into a disconnected state where a transmission path for transferring data between the image input apparatus and the image display apparatus is logically disconnected when in the non-imaging state, and brings the image input apparatus and the image display apparatus into a connected state when in the imaging state.
Abstract:
This attempts to lighten the burden on users when lifting a camera head from a table side. The camera holding arm 140 that holds the camera head 120 is axially supported on the arm shaft support shaft 204 which has the one way clutch 240 interposed for axial support to rotate at the ridge part 118. When doing forward rotation operation Xkap so as to pull up the camera holding arm 140 from the minimum inclination position of the side of the table 110, that rotation direction matches the rotation allowed direction of the one way clutch 240. Thus, the camera holding arm 140 is in a free state around the shaft of the arm shaft support shaft 204.
Abstract:
A support structure which can hold an image reading apparatus in a vertically placed condition is provided. On a bottom portion of an apparatus main body 1 in such a horizontally placed condition that a document table glass 2 is installed nearly horizontally, a storage portion 1c for storing the support structure is provided, and support structures 31, 32, 33 are released from the storage portion and get into around the side of a document cover 6 and a hinge 7, from the bottom portion, and holds the apparatus main body 1 in a vertically placed condition.
Abstract:
A image magnifier for the vision impaired which magnifies the image of face up source material (13) placed in the visual field of the camera (15) and displays the magnified image on a display (20). One embodiment includes a static high-resolution image mode and a second live video mode. The controller (29) provides different lighting appropriate for each mode. In a further embodiment the magnifier is transportable. Each part (17, 14, 16) is hinged (18, 19) to the other parts (17, 14, 16) allowing it to be folded into a compact lightweight form to be portably carried. In a still further embodiment the magnifier includes shielding for the lighting to minimise or avoid specular reflections.

Abstract:
An image inputting device comprises a base having an object resting surface on which an object rests, an image pickup unit, a reflecting unit having a reflecting surface for reflecting a light from the object and introducing the light to the image pickup unit, and a holding unit disposed on the base to be rotatable about a first axis parallel to the object resting surface. The image pickup unit is rotatable about a second axis disposed on the holding unit, and the reflecting unit is rotatable about a third axis disposed on the holding unit.
Abstract:
A portable imaging system comprises a portfolio having at least two panels foldably coupled to each other where at least one of the at least two panels is adapted for releasable engagement of a media object thereto. The system also comprises an imaging device coupled to another of the at least two panels where the at least one panel is configured to automatically align the media object with the imaging device when the at least one panel is disposed in a position facing the another panel to facilitate scanning of the media object by the imaging device.
Abstract:
A portable image capture, display and printing system. The system includes an image acquisition device such as a video camera, and a display monitor. A general purpose computer is used to save and process the acquired image, move an icon about the display monitor, and create on the monitor a display of the image. The displayed image is created gradually, along the path on the display of the icon. The system also includes a printer for printing the displayed image. At least the video camera and the monitor are mounted in a first portable, collapsible support structure that preferably looks like an artist's easel.
Abstract:
A camera support structure of a video presenter includes a first support rod having one end portion rotatably installed with respect to a main body of the video presenter, a second support rod rotatably extended from the other end portion of the first support rod, a first joint portion maintaining the first support rod rotatable with respect to the main body of the video presenter, a second joint portion maintaining the first support rod and the second support rod rotatable between 0null through 180null with respect to each other and elastically supporting the first support rod and the second support rod with respect to each other, and a third joint portion maintaining a camera rotatable with respect to the other end portion of the second support rod and elastically supporting the second support rod and the camera with respect to each other.
