摘要: A method for determining change in temperature of an electromagnetically radiating device between un-energized and energized states without contacting the device is disclosed. The method includes establishing a reference image form the device by illuminating the device with an optical signal having a first optical characteristic and capturing the reference image from the device in an un-energized state, establishing an on image form the device by illuminating the device in an energized state, and establishing a modified on image form the device by illuminating the device in the energized state with a modified optical signal having a third illuminating optical characteristic, and comparing the reference image, the on image, and the modified on image to establish changes in reflection as a result of changes in temperature of the device during energization.

摘要: A digital camera accesses, processes and displays a combination image composed of visible light and near non-visible (“NNV”) light. A method can include accessing, by a digital camera, raw data having first information associated with a first electromagnetic spectrum range and second information associated with a second electromagnetic spectrum range. The first electromagnetic spectrum range is substantially within the visible spectrum and the second electromagnetic spectrum range is substantially within the NNV spectrum. The method can also include optimizing the raw data for the visible spectrum, thereby generating a first visual image representation, and optimizing the raw data for the NNV spectrum, thereby generating a second visual image representation. The method can also include combining the first visual image representation and the second visual image representation to generate a combination image. The digital camera can then initiate the display of the combination image.

摘要: A method of determining a silhouette of a remote object is disclosed herein. The method can include directing an array of telescopes at a star to sense an intensity of EM radiation over time and transmit signals corresponding to the intensity. The signals can be received at a computing device. Each signal can be indicative of a portion of an intensity diffraction pattern generated by an occlusion of the star by an occluding object. The signals can be combined to form a two-dimensional, intensity diffraction pattern. Each point on the intensity diffraction pattern associated with a time, a position of each telescope in the array, and an intensity of the sensed EM radiation. A silhouette of the occluding object can be determined based on the intensity diffraction pattern. A system for performing the method is also disclosed herein.

摘要: An imaging pixel is provided. The imaging pixel includes a photodetector that outputs charge signals in response to incident light and laser pulses and a high-frequency path. A detector biasing circuit is further provided that biases high-frequency signals of the charge signals that are associated with the laser pulses to follow the high frequency path. The detector biasing circuit effectively filters low-frequency signal components of the charge signals from following the high-frequency path.
