    摘要: Systolic blood pressure of a subject is determined by application of monotonic changing pressure conditions over a region of an organ of the subject, simultaneous illumination of a tissue in the pressurized organ with light and measurement of optical data indicative of passage of the light through the tissue and of pressure data indicative of the pressure being applied over said region of said organ. At least one pulsatile and at least one baseline component are determined from the measured optical data and changes are then identified in each of the components, said changes indicative that the pressure applied over the organ is smaller than systolic blood pressure of the subject. The systolic blood pressure of the subject may be determined as a maximal applied pressure at which at least one of the changes in the pulsatile component and the changes in the baseline component started to appear.

    摘要: The present invention is related to a cardiovascular monitoring device including an inflatable cuff for surrounding a limb of a user, at least a first and a second electrodes, a controlling circuitry with a processor accommodated in a housing, and a display element. The controlling circuitry is configured to perform a blood pressure measurement through controlling a pressure inside the inflatable cuff, and perform an electrocardiogram measurement by using the electrodes. The processor is also configured to provide a diastolic blood pressure and a systolic blood pressure when the blood pressure measurement is performed, and to provide a heart rhythm information when the electrocardiogram measurement is performed. Further, for achieving a better and more stable contact between the electrodes and the user's skin, the present invention provides an improved structure with electrodes arranged thereon based on the conventional blood pressure monitor.

There is a valve between an auxiliary air tank and the main air tank to release air in the auxiliary air tank to the main air tank. A pressurized device increases pressure of the main air tank and the auxiliary air tank to impose pressure upon the wrist or the arm of the user. A pressure release device is set on the main air tank. A pressure detector detects pressure of the main air tank and outputs a pressure value. A heartbeat detector detects the oppression of the blood of the artery of the user and outputs a pulsation signal. A controller controls the pressure release device to release air in the main air tank and activates the valve based on the pulsation signal for releasing air in the auxiliary air tank to the main air tank.
