摘要: The present invention discloses a chain tool for chip removing and/or shredding. The chain tool comprises a tool body having a longitudinal axis, and a chain arranged about the tool body and comprising chain members consecutively linked therebetween. The tool body comprises a generally axi-symmetric envelope extending about the longitudinal axis and disposed between generally radially-extending coaxially-aligned first and second ends of the tool body. The tool body further comprises a plurality of channels circumferentially defined on the envelope. The chain members are disposed on the plurality of channels about the envelope and are configured to spiral circumferentially about the tool body from the first end to the second end.

摘要: A tool unit according to the invention has an arrangement wherein a shaft-like mount portion having a step is disposed on one of a tool body or a tool holder. The other of the tool body or the tool holder, includes a recessed fitting portion or bore shrinkage-fitted on the mount portion and having a step. The fitting portion includes a hydraulic feed passage for externally feeding a high-pressure oil to a gap defined between the step of the mount portion and the step of the fitting portion. In mounting the tool body to the tool holder, the high-pressure oil is externally fed to the gap through the hydraulic feed passage. Thus, a thin layer of the high-pressure oil is formed between the shrinkage-fitted surfaces, while on the other hand, the tool body and the tool holder are drawn close to each other. This facilitates the correction of inclination or axial displacement of the fitting portion relative to the mount portion, which occurred during the shrinkage-fit process. Additionally, feeding the high-pressure oil to the gap allows the tool body to be readily dismounted from the tool holder.

摘要: A machining tool beveling the edges of workpieces such as sheet metal is movable relative to the workpiece in the feed direction along the edge of the workpiece and in an action direction perpendicular to the feed direction. It has at least two adjacent cutting edges extending in the feed direction, one of which is the leading edge and the other of which is the trailing edge which is offset from the leading edge. The trailing cutting edge will effect a further cut in the workpiece as the tool is moved along the edge of the workpiece and reciprocated against its edge portion.

摘要: A multiple axis machine includes a plurality of servo-motors that produce movement of a member in at least two axes. The servo-motors are controlled by a computer which runs a simulation of a line shaft power train for producing movement of the member. Specifically, characteristics of a line shaft for powering the machine are defined along with characteristics of a pair of mechanical linkages with dynamically variable kinematics that are driven by the line shaft to produce movement along the two axes. The computer simulates a virtual line shaft using the line shaft characteristics and produces an angular acceleration, an angular velocity and an angular position of the virtual line shaft. The computer also simulates a pair of virtual mechanical linkages with dynamically variable kinematics based upon the linkage characteristics, and based on the angular acceleration, angular velocity and angular position of the virtual line shaft. The simulations produce control signals that operate actuators for each axis of the machine, and produce dynamically variable kinematic feedback force signals which are applied to the simulation of the virtual line shaft to simulate dynamically variable kinematic forces exerted by the mechanical linkages on the virtual line shaft.

The leg portion is received in a compressed manner between two adjacent components of a pivotally connected assembly which have axial tolerances. At least one of the surfaces of the leg portion is provided with grooves and projections such that when the projections are compressed between adjacent components by relative motion within the assembly or tolerances within the assembly, the elastic material of the protrusions will flex into the surrounding grooves.
