摘要: Disclosed is a duplex ferritic austenitic stainless steel of 40-60 volume % ferrite and 40-60 volume % austenite, with improved cold workability and impact toughness. It contains less than 0.07% carbon (C), 0.1-2.0% silicon (Si), 3-5% manganese (Mn), 19-23% chromium (Cr), 1.1-1.9% nickel (Ni), 1.1-3.5% copper (Cu), 0.18-0.30% nitrogen (N), optionally molybdenum (Mo) and/or tungsten (W) according to the formula (Mo+½W) 10, where Creq=Cr+1.5Si+Mo+2Ti+0.5Nb Nieq=Ni+0.5Mn+30(C+N)+0.5(Cu+Co).

摘要: A high-strength galvanized steel sheet includes a steel sheet having a chemical composition containing a predetermined component element, a mass ratio of a content of Si to a content of Mn in the steel (Si/Mn) being 0.1 or more and less than 0.2, and the balance: Fe and incidental impurities, and a steel structure in which an average grain size of inclusions containing at least one of Al, Si, Mg, and Ca and existing in an area extending from a surface to a position of ⅓ of a sheet thickness is 50 μm or less, and an average nearest distance between ones of the inclusions is 20 μm or more; and a galvanized layer provided on a surface of the steel sheet, in which an amount of diffusible hydrogen contained in the steel is less than 0.25 mass ppm, and a tensile strength is 1100 MPa or more.

The electroslag remelted ingot comprises the following chemical components, C: 0.36-0.41%, Si: 0.80-1.10%, Mn: 1.00-3.00%, Cr: 4.90-5.40%, Mo: 1.35-1.55%, V: 0.4-0.7%, Ni≤0.04%, Cu≤0.04%%, S≤0.003%, P≤0.012%, O≤0.0015%, H≤0.0002%, N≤0.006%, 0.05%≤RE≤0.20%, the balance being Fe. The above percentage is percentage by mass. According to the present invention, the features of electroslag remelting under inert gas protection are fully combined and a rare earth alloy is precisely fed during the electroslag remelting, thus exerting the excellent effects of RE inclusion modification and micro-alloying under high purity and high uniformity conditions and realizing high-quality and high-performance Hot-work die steel.

The coating can form a raceway of the bearing component or a structural element such as a flange. Also a method of forming such a bearing component is provided.

摘要: A grain-oriented electrical steel sheet according to the present invention has a steel sheet surface provided with grooves. An average protrusion height of the surface protrusion extending along a longitudinal direction of the groove is more than 5 μm and not more than 10 μm. When the surface protrusion is viewed in a cross section including the longitudinal direction of the groove and a normal direction of the steel sheet surface, the surface protrusion includes specific portions each having a height of 50% or more with respect to a height of each peak point appearing on a profile line of the surface protrusion. In the longitudinal direction of the groove, the total length of the specific portions is a length of 30% or more with respect to an overall length of the surface protrusion.

摘要: Described herein are thin metal strips having hot rolled exterior side surfaces characterized as being primarily or substantially free of all prior austenite grain boundaries, or at least primarily or substantially free of all prior austenite grain boundaries, and including elongated surface structure. As a result, because the prior austenite grain boundaries are not primarily or substantially present, all such prior austenite grain boundaries are not susceptible to grain boundary etching due to acid etching or pickling. In particular examples, the thin metal strips undergo hot rolling performed with a coefficient of friction equal to or greater than 0.20 with or without use of lubrication.
