Abstract: High strength steel sheet and plated steel sheet having high plateability, LME resistance, and hydrogen embrittlement resistance, that is, steel sheet containing C: 0.05 to 0.40%, Si: 0.2 to 3.0%, Mn: 0.1 to 5.0%, and sol. Al: 0.4 to 1.50%, having an internal oxidation layer including fine granular oxides, coarse granular oxides, and grain boundary oxides in a surface layer of the steel sheet, a number density of fine granular oxides in the internal oxidation layer being 4.0/μm2 or more, a number density of coarse granular oxides in the internal oxidation layer being 4.0/25 μm2 or more, having a Ratio A of the length of the grain boundary oxides projected on the surface of the steel sheet to the length of the surface of the steel sheet when examining a cross-section of the surface layer of the steel sheet being 50% or more and 100% or less, and including a surface depleted layer with a steel composition not including oxides which satisfies, by mass %, Si≤0.6% and Al≥0.05% at a depth of ½ of the average depth of the internal oxidation layer calculated from the cross-sectional SEM image of the steel sheet, and a plated steel sheet using the same.

Abstract: A non-oriented electrical steel sheet according to one embodiment of this invention includes a base metal steel sheet and a composite coating film composed of a Zn-containing phosphate and an organic resin, the composite coating film being formed on a surface of the base metal steel sheet. A molar ratio of Zn to all metal components in the composite coating film is 10 mol % or more, and after the non-oriented electrical steel sheet is boiled for 20 minutes in boiled distilled water, an amount of soluble Zn in the distilled water is 1.0 mg/m2 or more. The method for determining the amount of soluble Zn is in accordance with JIS K 0102: 2016 “Testing Methods for Industrial Wastewater”, 53.3 “ICP Emission Spectroscopy”.

Abstract: An aluminum-based plated steel sheet according to an aspect of the present invention includes: a base material; an aluminum-based plating layer located above the base material; and an intermetallic compound layer that is located between the base material and the aluminum-based plating layer and contains an intermetallic compound of Al and Fe, in which the base material has a chemical component within a predetermined range, the aluminum-based plating layer contains, on average, 80 mass % or more and 97 mass % or less of Al, 3 mass % or more and 15 mass % or less of Si, 0 mass % or more and 5 mass % or less of Zn, 0 mass % or more and 5 mass % or less of Fe, 0 mass % or more and 3 mass % or less in total of one or more selected from the group consisting of Mg and Ca, and impurities so that a total amount thereof is 100 mass %, an average value of a thickness of the intermetallic compound layer is 2 μm or more and 10 μm or less, a maximum value of the thickness of the intermetallic compound layer is 10 μm or more and 25 μm or less, and a standard deviation of the thickness of the intermetallic compound layer is 2 μm or more and 10 μm or less.
