摘要: A mounting device or bracket for paneled building surfaces is disclosed. The mounting bracket includes an upper wall in the form of a flat surface for supporting various types of attachments. An elongated mounting slot extends through the upper wall, and the mounting bracket includes an elongated nut receptacle that is positioned below this elongated mounting slot. With an attachment being positioned on the upper wall, an attachment fastener may be directed through the attachment, then through the elongated mounting slot, and then may be threadably engaged with a nut that is positioned within and movable along the nut receptacle in its elongated dimension. The elongated configuration of the mounting slot and nut receptacle provides adjustability for the position of the attachment fastener relative to the mounting bracket, including after the mounting bracket has already been installed on the building surface.

摘要: A metal section in concrete or mortar material is protected against corrosion by providing an anode and a solar panel where the solar panel and the anode are supplied for installation as a common unit where the anode is mounted to the rear of the solar panel with an optional storage component therebetween. At least a part of the anode is attached to a surface of the material and one or both of the anode and the solar panel is flexible to conform to the surface. In installation, a light meter is used to determine levels of ambient light for example in an interior location not in receipt of direct sunlight and details of the material and metal section at the location to calculate a required location and size of the solar panels and the anodes.

摘要: A method for forming a solar panel can include attaching one or more tacking pads to one or both of a first surface of a first solar panel subassembly and a second surface of a second solar panel subassembly. The method further includes dispensing an adhesive onto at least one of the first and second surfaces. The first and second surfaces are placed in contact with the one or more tacking pads, thereby tacking the first and second solar panel subassemblies together, during which the first and second surfaces contact the adhesive, thereby decreasing a thickness and increasing a surface area of the adhesive. Subsequently, the adhesive is cured. The tacking pad(s) maintain fixed alignment of the solar panel subassemblies during curing of the adhesive, and establish a bond line of the adhesive.

The compartment is accessible along a top end of the body. The first and second side walls include respective cavities that are recessed from exterior surfaces of the side walls via rims that define perimeters of the cavities. The lid is connected to the top end of the body and encloses the compartment when in a closed position. The two handles are tethered to the body via cords, and are configured to nest within the cavities of the corresponding side walls when not grasped by a person. First and second ends of the handles are configured to engage opposing portions of the corresponding rim to retain the handle nested in the cavity via an interference fit.
