摘要: A control device of a vehicle including an engine, a power transmission device, a shift operation device, and a switching device includes: a shift-switching control portion outputting the control command signal when it is determined that the shift switching is permitted, and not outputting the control command signal when it is determined that the shift switching is prohibited, at the time of a shift switching operation; and an engine-starting control portion outputting a first signal causing the shift-switching control portion to determine that the shift switching is prohibited and initiating starting of the engine after determining that the shift switching is not being performed when it is determined that the shift switching is permitted at the time of an engine starting operation performed by the driver for starting the engine, and immediately initiating the engine when it is determined that the shift switching is prohibited.

摘要: The present invention describes a fuel-management system for minimizing particulate emissions in turbocharged direct injection gasoline engines. The system optimizes the use of port fuel injection (PFI) in combination with direct injection (DI), particularly in cold start and other transient conditions. In the present invention, the use of these control systems together with other control systems for increasing the effectiveness of port fuel injector use and for reducing particulate emissions from turbocharged direct injection engines is described. Particular attention is given to reducing particulate emissions that occur during cold start and transient conditions since a substantial fraction of the particulate emissions during a drive cycle occur at these times. Further optimization of the fuel management system for these conditions is important for reducing drive cycle emissions.

摘要: A control device for a multi-stage automatic transmission-equipped vehicle includes a hydraulic power controller, a combustion controller configured to, if a predetermined combustion stop condition is satisfied when the vehicle is traveling, perform deceleration-period combustion stop control, and limit combustion restart triggered by a reduction in rotational speed of an internal combustion engine, during execution of the deceleration-period combustion stop control, and a motoring controller configured to control the rotational drive of the internal combustion engine by a motor during execution of the deceleration-period combustion stop control so that the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine is maintained at a predetermined rotational speed during a period of time from the time that the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine decreases to the predetermined rotational speed until downshifting to a predetermined gear ratio is completed.

摘要: A control method for an internal combustion engine in which a driving force is transmitted through a clutch to a driving wheel of a vehicle, the control method includes: when the internal combustion engine which is automatically stopped in a state where the clutch is disengaged is restarted, performing a torque down control to decrease a target torque of the internal combustion engine when the clutch is engaged; and setting a target torque in the torque down control, to a predetermined torque lower limit value determined in accordance with a driving state, the torque lower limit value including at least one of a predetermined full open value set when an accelerator opening degree is full open, and a predetermined full close value set when the accelerator opening degree is full close.

摘要: In one aspect, a method for controlling an engine system includes starting the engine system, activating an engine idling reduction mode allowing automatic shutdown and automatic restarting of an engine, disallowing automatic shutdown of the engine within the engine idling reduction mode if a state of charge of a voltage source is below a charge limit for permitting automatic shutdown of the engine, and modifying the charge limit as a function of a number of starts of the engine. Other aspects include a method for disallowing automatic shutdown of an engine if a voltage source has not achieved a fully charged condition, a method of triggering an automatic restarting of an engine, if the engine is automatically shutdown, based on at least two separate indicators of engine temperature, and a method of disallowing automatic shutdown of an engine if ambient temperature is less than a predetermined value.

摘要: A valve system of a fuel system for a vehicle may close a jet pump-side flow path when a pressure of fuel supplied from a fuel pump to an engine is lower than a prescribed fuel pressure at engine start-up, and open the jet pump-side flow path when the pressure of fuel is equal to or higher than the prescribed fuel pressure at the engine start-up, thereby improving cold startability of an engine, and may also allow the jet pump-side flow path to be kept in an opened state between a low load region and a high load region of the engine after the engine start-up, thereby smoothly keeping a function of the jet pump after the engine start-up.

摘要: A vehicle includes a combustion engine configured to output mechanical power and an electric machine coupled to the engine and configured to convert the mechanical power to electrical power. The vehicle also includes a battery to exchange electrical power with the electric machine. The vehicle further includes a controller programmed to receive user inputs indicative of a desired storage duration and a storage location and monitor a battery state of charge (SOC) while the vehicle is stored. The controller is also programmed to prompt a remote user to approve an engine auto-start in response to the SOC depleting to less than a predetermined threshold during storage, and to auto-start the engine to generate power to recharge the battery in response to remote user approval. The controller is further programmed to inhibit the auto-start of the engine in response to the vehicle being stored in an enclosed storage location.

摘要: Various embodiments include a method for starting an internal combustion engine comprising: in a first phase after a starting process, setting a throttle valve to a value near to zero so the pressure in the intake tract is lowered below the ambient pressure and injecting a fuel into the intake tract above a rich combustion limit at which the fuel/air mixture would still just be combustible; in a second phase, reducing the fuel mass as a function of the pressure; in a third phase shorter than the second phase, further reducing the fuel mass and increasing the opening of the throttle valve to increase the pressure in the intake tract; and in a fourth phase, increasing the fuel mass as a function of rising pressure in the intake tract.
