摘要: A method includes detecting a change in a loading condition on an engine based on use of an implement system including a pump driven by the engine, an actuator fluidly coupled to the pump, and an implement repositionable with the actuator. The change in the loading condition is detected based on a variation in a command signal from a joystick that controls movement of the implement, an outlet pressure of the pump, a displacement of the pump, and/or an engagement signal of a clutch positioned to selectively couple the pump to the engine. The method further includes commanding a fueling system to increase an amount of fuel provided to the engine and/or an air handling system of the machine to increase an amount of air and/or a boost pressure of the air provided to the engine in response to detection of an increasing loading condition based on the variation.

A maximum permissible pre-controlled charge and an exhaust-gas temperature-dependent delta charge are determined by means of a PI controller. A total permissible charge is determined on the basis of the maximum permissible pre-controlled charge and the exhaust-gas temperature-dependent delta-charge, and the air charge of the internal combustion engine is limited by the total permissible charge.

A driving-assistance control apparatus according to the present disclosure includes a straight-running determination unit that determines whether or not a vehicle is running straight, a head-position detection unit that detects a head position of a driver, a driving-posture determination unit that determines the posture of the driver, based on the head position detected by the head-position detection unit, and a driving-assistance control unit that performs acceleration preparation control for raising a reaction speed for acceleration operation or deceleration preparation control for raising a reaction speed for deceleration operation in accordance with an output of the driving-posture determination unit, when the straight-running determination unit determines that a vehicle is running straight.

摘要: A method and apparatus is disclosed to control the operation of an air charging system of an internal combustion engine. A plurality of output parameters of the air charging system are monitored. An error is calculated between the monitored output parameters and a target value thereof. The calculated errors are applied to a linear controller that yields a virtual input used to calculate a plurality of input parameters for the air charging system. The input parameters is used to determine the position of a corresponding actuator of the air charging system for operating the actuators according to the determined position thereof. The inputs parameters are calculated with a non-linear mathematical model of the air charging system configured such that the virtual inputs are in a linear relation with only one of the output parameters and vice versa.

摘要: In an internal combustion engine an air-fuel ratio is switched between at least two target values without generating torque fluctuations, while a deterioration in fuel consumption performance and exhaust performance is suppressed. When a condition for switching a combustion mode from stoichiometric combustion to lean combustion and a condition that the amount of change in a target torque is less than or equal to a predetermined value are satisfied, a target EGR rate is increased towards an EGR limit prior to switching the target air-fuel ratio. The target air-fuel ratio is maintained at the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio until the target EGR rate reaches the EGR limit, and in response to the target EGR rate reaching the EGR limit, the target air-fuel ratio is changed towards a lean air-fuel ratio.

摘要: A transport refrigeration system (10) includes a refrigerant vapor compression transport unit (12) including a compressor (14). A drive unit is utilized to provide power to the compressor. The drive unit includes a diesel powered engine (32) and a diesel particulate filter in operable communication with the diesel powered engine to filter combustion particulates from an exhaust gas output from the diesel powered engine. An air control valve is in operable communication with the diesel powered engine to control a flow of air into an air inlet of the diesel powered engine, thereby controlling an exhaust gas temperature of the diesel engine to aid in regeneration of the diesel particulate filter.

摘要: According to the present invention of the simple structure in which the back pressure chamber of the inner vent type regulator is divided by the inner vent diaphragm and the displacement limitation rod protrudes from the center portion thereof to the center portion of the pressure regulation diaphragm, it is possible to suppress the variation in air-fuel ratio to a minimum both when the air cleaner is blocked and at the time of high load operation, without being accompanied by a rise in costs.
