A pulsation damping device is provided which is both dimensioned to withstand stresses and is simple to produce, the pulsation damping effect of which can be tailored especially easily to the existing conditions. Further disclosed is a pulsation damping module for housing a plurality of pulsation damping capsules.

    摘要: A fuel pressure damper (10′) includes a housing (15) defining an inlet (46) constructed and arranged to receive fuel. An orifice disc (54) is provided at the inlet and includes at least one orifice (58). A cover (22) is coupled to the housing. A flexible diaphragm (12) has a periphery fixedly secured to at least the housing or the cover and has a freely movable central portion (36). A compression spring (14) biases the diaphragm to a normal position. In an operating position, the central portion of the diaphragm alone, or in combination with the spring, is constructed and arranged to dampen fuel pressure pulsations at the inlet. The orifice is constructed and arranged to ensure that pressure pulsations of a certain magnitude are prevented from entering the damper and damaging the diaphragm.

In one aspect, an apparatus for controlling pressure spikes in a fluid pipe system includes, for example, a fluid pressure spike suppression pipe (“damper pipe”) portion with multiple openings for connecting to at least two network pipes in a fluid system pipe network. The damper pipe has a diameter that is larger than respective diameters of the network pipes within which fluid pressure spikes are to be suppressed. First and second openings for connecting to the network pipes are respectively positioned at proximal and distal ends of the damper pipe. The first opening in the damper pipe is for fluid ingress into the damper pipe via a first pipe network pipe. The second opening in the damper pipe is for fluid egress out of the damper pipe and into a second network pipe.

A fluid inlet/outlet port is attached to the tank, and an elastomeric bladder is disposed within the tank and separates the fluid from a volume of gas. A nozzle system is disposed within the tank and has a nozzle member comprising a first plurality of axially elongate perforations, and a second plurality of perforations. The nozzle member can extend a partial or complete distance with tank. The tank body includes a throat that extends outwardly from a portion of the tank adjacent the port, and a portion of the nozzle member comprising the first plurality of perforations is disposed within the throat. An annular space exists adjacent the nozzle member in the neck to facilitate the flow of solid constituent within the fluid from the tank and into the nozzle member.

    摘要: The invention relates to a hydro sound damper, in particular for integration in an aircraft hydraulic system, with a throughout inner tube, wherein the inner tube comprises a perforation section which is coaxially encompassed by a housing under formation of a gas-filled cavity. The perforation section is coaxially encompassed by a metal felt cylinder at least in sections and an elastomeric membrane bears on the metal felt cylinder for generating a gas cushion, which is closed in itself. Due to the metal felt cylinder a pushing through of the elastomeric membrane into the bores of the perforation section is avoided when the hydraulic system is depressurized. Furthermore, the metal felt cylinder, which is infiltrated respectively flowed through, produces an improved damping characteristic which might moreover be adjusted by a variation of the flow resistance of the used metal felt. The hydro sound damper is built-on spacious compact, has a low weight, reaches high damping values over a broad noise spectrum and is therefore capable of being easily integrated in existing aircraft hydraulic systems.
