摘要: An apparatus for analyzing music based on sound information of instruments is provided. The apparatus uses sound information of instruments or the sound information and score information in order to analyze digital sounds. The sound information of instruments performed to generate digital sounds is previously stored by pitches and strengths so that monophonic notes and polyphonic notes performed by the instruments can be easily analyzed. In addition, by using the sound information of instruments and score information together, input digital sounds can be accurately analyzed and can be detected in the form of quantitative data.

摘要: A system and method for automatically detecting and identifying a plurality of frequencies simultaneously present in an audio signal, as well as the duration, amplitude, and phase of those frequencies, then filtering out harmonic components to determine which frequencies are fundamentals. The system includes a computer readable medium of instruction code that decomposes the signal into its component sine waves by computing and comparing correlations between the input signal and sine waves at various phase and amplitude combinations. The system also employs several optimization and error correction routines.

摘要: A method for shifting the timbre and/or pitch of an input signal samples the input signal at a first rate and stores the samples in a memory buffer. A digital signal processor resamples the stored input signal at a rate that differs from the first rate at which the input note is originally sampled and stores the resampled input signal in a second memory buffer. A pitch shifter shifts the pitch of the input signal by periodically scaling the resampled input signal by a window function to create an output signal. The rate at which the resampled data is replicated by the window function determines the pitch of the output signal.

摘要: A woodwind-styled electronic musical instrument comprises an instrument body of an elongated rod shape provided with a plurality of manipulating note keys arranged thereon for designating musical notes to be played, and a mouthpiece arranged at the top end of the instrument body and including a lip sensor for detecting a bite condition of the player. Musical tones are produced according to the designation by the note keys and to the bite condition. On the front surface of the instrument body in the slope area near the top end thereof are arranged a first and second LED'S. In a tight-lip control condition, the bite condition is detected to be neutral level when the lip sensor detects a middle extent of the bite degree, while in a loose-lip control condition, the bite condition is detected to be neutral level when the lip sensor detects a substantially zero extent of the bite degree. In either control condition, the first LED is not lit at and near the neutral level, and is lit neither at nor near the neutral level. The second LED is lit when the breath pressure is good for the tone production.

摘要: There is provided a method of determining the pitch in string instruments that are excited by plucking or striking, wherein a vibration of a string is converted by a transducer into an electrical signal and the electrical signal is evaluated.Up to now, the transducers have primarily been electromagnetic transducers for which a plurality of evaluation algorithms and methods are available. Now however, one also wants to be able to use pressure transducers without having to use new evaluation algorithms and methods. To this end, a pressure transducer is used as the transducer and the electrical signal is subjected to differentiation with respect to time.

摘要: A pickup system for an electrical musical instrument having strings includes two pickup windings to respond to playing of the strings. A third winding is included. A switch connects any of the three windings in electrical series with either of the remaining two windings so that any of three respective pairs of connected windings can be selected. The windings of each of the respective pairs are connected such that interference such as 60-hertz hum is canceled.

摘要: The playback speed of an audio signal is decreased or increased by repeatedly reproducing a preset audio signal domain or removing a domain of the audio signal. A memory stores the audio signal and an audio pitch is calculated from the audio signal readout from the memory. The audio pitch and information relating to power of the audio signal are used to produce a memory address sample set to be used in addressing the memory to reading out the audio signal at a desired playback speed. An address phase signal is fed back from a memory address controller to prevent over running or gaps from being formed in the audio signal reading out.
