摘要: A correction method for an image forming apparatus including a light source including a plurality of light emitting points, a photosensitive member configured to rotate in a first direction, and a deflection unit configured to deflect light beams emitted from the light source in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction to form scanning lines, the correction method including: a storing step of storing information on positional deviation of the scanning lines in the first direction; a conversion step of converting positions of pixels of an input image by performing coordinate transformation based on the information so that an interval of the scanning lines becomes a predetermined interval; and a filtering step of determining pixel values of pixels of an output image by subjecting pixel values of the pixels of the input image after the coordinate transformation to a convolution operation.

The first data associates a first subset of the plurality of pixels in the halftone with a first colorant, the first subset defining a first region in the halftone. The second data associates a second subset of the plurality of pixels in the halftone with a second colorant different from the first colorant, the second subset defining a second region in the halftone. The first subset of the plurality of pixels in the halftone and the second subset of the plurality of pixels in the halftone are mutually exclusive, and the first region is at least partially enclosed by the second region.

摘要: An image processing apparatus for a printing apparatus. The image processing apparatus includes a recording position acquiring device for acquiring recording positions of a reference image printed by a reference print head and a target image printed by a target print head, a positional deviation amount calculating device for calculating a deviation amount due to a skew with respect to the recording positions of the reference image and the target image, and a positional deviation interpolation image converting device, when there is a remainder of the deviation amount and the predetermined intervals, for adding a weight based on the remainder, and adding a smaller weight than the weight to the reference image or the target image without a remainder and adjoining the reference image or the target image with the remainder, thereby converting the image into a width direction positional deviation interpolation image.

摘要: An example embodiment may involve causing a page of a document to be printed on a printing device, wherein the printing device is in an AM halftoning mode and prints the page using an AM halftone; displaying, on the display unit, a graphical user interface, wherein the graphical user interface includes a selectable option to switch the printing device from the AM halftoning mode to an FM halftoning mode; receiving an indication that the selectable option has been selected; possibly in response to receiving the indication that the selectable option has been selected, causing the printing device to switch from the AM halftoning mode to the FM halftoning mode; and causing the page of the document to be printed again on the printing device, wherein the printing device is in the FM halftoning mode and prints the page using an FM halftone.

Further, the color material of light blue satisfies the following condition. hC+(h(C+M)−hC)/2≦hB≦hM−(hM−h(C+M))/2 Here, hC represents a hue of the cyan ink, hM represents a hue of the magenta ink, h(C+M) represents a hue of the image printed with the cyan ink and the magenta ink in the same amount, and hB represents a hue of the light blue ink.
