摘要: To improve throughput in a communication environment in which a large number of terminal apparatuses access, a receiver receives information indicating whether a radio resource allocated by a base station apparatus is a grant free access resource or a scheduled access resource, as well as transmission power control information in the scheduled access resource and transmission power control information in the grant free access resource; and a transmitter configured to transmit a transmission signal to the base station apparatus. In a case of communicating by using the scheduled access resource, a transmission power control is performed based on the first transmission power control information to transmit the transmission signal. In a case of communicating by using the grant-free access resource, the transmission power control is performed based on the second transmission power control information to transmit the transmission signal.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to wireless communications, and more particularly to enhancements to a random access channel (RACH) procedure for use in New Radio (e.g., 5G) communications in the unlicensed spectrum (also referred to as NR-U). The present disclosure provides a user equipment (UE) or network entity that determines an available RACH occasion (RO) within a slot for a message transmission according to one of a two-step RACH procedure or a four-step RACH procedure, wherein the available RO is adjacent to at least one unavailable RO within the slot. The UE or network entity may further perform, during the RO, the message transmission according to one of the two-step RACH procedure or the four-step RACH procedure.

摘要: A method performed by a User Equipment (UE) for Beam Failure Recovery (BFR) is provided. The method includes the UE detecting a beam failure event on a serving cell, and initiating a Random Access (RA) procedure for BFR on a Bandwidth Part (BWP) of the serving cell. The RA procedure for BFR includes performing an RA type selection after determining that the UE is not configured with any Contention-Free RA (CFRA) resource for BFR, the RA type selection including determining a 2-step RA type or a 4-step RA type as an RA type of the RA procedure for BFR based on a Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) value of a Downlink (DL) pathloss reference, skipping performing the RA type selection after determining that the UE is configured with a CFRA resource for BFR, and determining the RA type as the 4-step RA type after skipping the RA type selection.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to random access in a communication system. A first device receives a criterion to select a random access type for performing random access to a second device. The first device further determines whether the first device is allocated a contention-free random access resource for a certain random access type, and then performs the random access to the second device based on the determination and conditionally based on the criterion. As such, in the case where contention-free random access resource has been allocated for a certain random access type, the device can conditionally apply the criterion for selection of the random access type and can thus perform random access with improved efficiency.

Operations of a device can comprise determining a first inactivity in a first beam based on a first performance of a first listen before talk procedure in the first beam and, based on determining the first inactivity, analyzing a presence of an activity in a second beam based on a second performance of a second listen before talk procedure in the second beam. Further, the operations can comprise, based on determining a lack of the presence of the activity in the second beam, transmitting a signal via the second beam. In an example, analyzing the presence of the activity in the second beam can be performed prior to completion of the determining the first inactivity in the first beam.

摘要: A method of providing multi-link operation channel access in a multi-link network includes initiating, by a multi-link station, a first backoff countdown and a second backoff countdown associated with a first link and a second link of the multi-link network, respectively, receiving a first frame on the first link, suspending the second backoff countdown, decoding the first frame to identify the first frame as one of an inter-network frame, an intra-network uplink frame, or an intra-network downlink frame, and in response to identifying the first frame as the inter-network frame or the intra-network uplink frame, resuming the second backoff countdown.
