摘要: In a dry friction material and a method for manufacturing the same, to maintain a content of glass fibers low on a whole dry friction material to apply a hole boring for caulking assembly with high strength and high stiffness at a part to be subjected to the hole boring.A part (glass-rich part 30) to be subjected to the hole boring is pressed at a higher pressure than a part not to be subjected to the hole boring in a press-shaping step by providing a rib 21 protruding toward a shaped body side on a part of press dies 20A, 20B corresponding to the part to be subjected to the hole boring. Thereby, only a compounded rubber 4 is pushed outward and only the glass-rich part 30 has an increase in a content of glass fibers 3. Thereby, strength that can withstand the hole boring is obtained. Accordingly, a dry friction material 1 with a bored hole 2 bored without generating a failure in the hole boring can be manufactured.

摘要: Emulsion paint type damping coatings show an excellent film forming property even if it leaves at low temperature from 5 to 20° C. It does not generate a defective coated film like swellings after baking drying and brings out an excellent damping performance within a range of 20 to 60° C. That is, it contains one or more than two kinds of organic chemicals within a range of 0.5% to 5% by weight in total and the MFT, the minimum film forming temperature of the entire resin emulsion is within a range of 5 to 15° C. and the boiling point for a film forming assistant is within a range of 150 to 240° C., thus, it enables to obtain an excellent film forming property at 5° C. and even in baking drying and does not generate a defective coated film like swellings as well. As a result, emulsion paint type damping coatings bring out an excellent damping performance within a range of 20 to 60° C.

摘要: A sealing compound composition as an adhesive composition contains a vinyl chloride resin, a plasticizer, a filler, a moisture absorbent and an acrylic resin as a pH control material. The moisture absorbent is blended within a range of 0.3 to 2.0% by weight. The acrylic resin is blended within a range of 1.0% by weight or more to less than 7.0% by weight. A blending ratio of the moisture absorbent is half or less than that of the acrylic resin.

摘要: To be able to promote discharge of lubricating oil in a disengaged state while maintaining a large lining area to such an extent that it does not affect torque transmission capacity, heat resistance, and peeling resistance thereby to obtain an excellent effect to reduce a drag torque in a wide range of relative rotation speeds.In a segment friction material 1A as a wet friction material, drag torque reducing grooves 5A are provided only on top surfaces of part of segment pieces 3A among thirty pieces of segment pieces 3, 3A. A series of drag torque reducing grooves 5A extend over five segment pieces 3A along a direction almost at right angles to a straight line connecting a center point 5Aa thereof and a center O of a circumference. The series of drag torque reducing grooves 5A are provided at three places on the circumference. Thereby, discharge of ATF is promoted without reducing a lining area and an oil film is formed on the top surface of the segment piece 3A. Thus, a great effect to reduce a drag torque was obtained in a wide range of relative rotation speeds (500 rpm to 5000 rpm).

摘要: A friction material has a resin amount distribution that is the largest at a portion near a non-friction surface, that becomes lower toward an inside and that is the lowest at a portion near a friction surface. For example, such friction material is manufacture as follows. First, two friction materials are overlapped while the friction surfaces faced with each other. Then, the friction materials are dried at a room temperature. At this time, the resin has such a characteristic as to move while dragged by a solvent that dries from the non-friction surface located outside. Using such characteristic, the resin amount at the portion near the friction surface is lessened. Then, a temperature at the friction surface is made low and a temperature at the non-friction surface is made high in a drying step of the friction material. Thereby, the resin amount at the portion near the friction surface is lessened.

摘要: A molding apparatus of a wet friction material has a pair of guide posts vertically extending on a molding apparatus main body. The pair of the guide posts passes through fifteen stages (sixteen pieces) of molding dies. A pair of pantograph-type open-close mechanisms is attached to opposite side surfaces of the molding dies. Thus, the molding dies are piled up on each other so as to come near to each other (mold clamping) and move apart from each other (mold opening). With the pantograph-type open-close link mechanism, all the molding dies are opened and closed at the same time. If the molding dies are slid at a speed of 200 mm/sec, it takes only 3.75 seconds (50 mm*15/200 mm=3.75 sec). It takes a double of that time or 7.5 seconds, that is a half of the time of a related art.

Moreover, even in case that there is the lubricating oil (ATF) supply from the inner peripheral side, it can obtain a significant drag torque reduction effect because it can restrain the stirred torque resulting from ATF at the outer peripheral portion.
