    摘要: A metal-encapsulated switching apparatus includes a housing having first and second opposite ends, a first insulator disposed at the first end and a second insulator disposed at the second end. First terminals are supported on the first insulator. First phase conductors run in a given direction and are connected to the first terminals. Second terminals are supported on the second insulator. Second phase conductors run in the given direction and are connected to the second terminals. The first and second terminals are mutually parallel, spaced apart and mutually overlapped. Movable contacts in the form of contact blades are supported on the first terminals. Fixed contacts are supported on the second terminals. Extensions with free ends protrude from and are perpendicular to the first and second terminals in the same direction. Fixed terminal contacts are perpendicular to the given direction of the phase conductors. Intermediate pieces are disposed on the free ends of the extensions and are movable into contact with the fixed terminal contacts.

    摘要: In the high voltage d-c transmission (HGU) power station in a block circuit, a three-phase generator feeds a 12-pulse high voltage d-c transmission (HGU) short coupler through at least one shifting transformer which serves for forming voltages of two three-phase voltage systems phase-shifted relative to each other by 30.degree. el. As compared to a full transformer, the shifting transformer can be constructed for substantially less power, which reduces the cost and the losses of the station. While the voltages of the two phase-shifted voltage systems can be taken off at the external terminals of the secondary windings of the shifting transformer, the center taps of the secondary windings are acted upon by the generator voltage. Advantageously, the high voltage d-c transmission short coupler is formed of a multiplicity of parallel, electrically separate d-c circuits which can be fed by separate shifting transformers.

    摘要: Control method for a liquid-cooled cable installation with a hollow conductor, through which a coolant flows, as the cable conductor. The hollow space is divided in the longitudinal direction by partitions forming separate canals for the outgoing flow and the return of the coolant and in which canals the coolant is in contact with the conductor at high-voltage potential. Heat exchangers are provided at the start and the end of the cable system or at intermediate stations. The cable flow temperature (.theta..sub.Z *) of the coolant is lowered with increasing load of the cable by influencing the heat exchanger and is conversely raised with falling load in such a manner that the mean value of the coolant (.theta..sub.m) remains constant.

    摘要: An actuator for an air valve placed in the boost air duct of an IC engine and, more specially, of such an engine supercharged or boosted by a pressure wave supercharger, the air valve being in its closed position on starting up the IC engine from cold, at which time the engine takes in charge air by way of a breather valve, and at the end of the starting stage the valve in the boost air duct is moved into its open position and is kept open while the engine is running. After shutting down the engine, the valve in the intake pipe is automatically moved back into its closed position and the air valve is moved into its open position by the pressure of the air forced into the boost air duct and/or by vacuum against an air valve spring closing force.
