    摘要: A battery pack may include a battery cell, a cradle, a board and a housing. The cradle may be coupled with the battery cell and may include one or more guide members extending from and integrally formed with a surface of the cradle. The board may be mounted to the cradle and may include a plurality of terminal contacts electrically connected with the battery cell. The one or more guide members may be adapted to guide a device into engagement with the terminal contacts. The housing may at least partially enclose the cradle and the battery cell and may include one or more guide apertures and a plurality of terminal apertures. The one or more guide members may protrude through the one or more guide apertures. Each of the terminal apertures may be aligned with a corresponding one of the plurality of contacts.

    摘要: A reciprocating saw includes a carrier operable to cooperate with a motor to translate rotational movement of the motor into reciprocal linear actuation of a saw blade. A carrier is slidably disposed within the housing and includes a first portion adapted to receive a saw blade and a second portion having a slot therethrough. A rotatable element is fixed for rotation about an output shaft of the motor. A follower operably interconnects the carrier and the rotatable element wherein rotation of the rotatable element provides reciprocal linear motion of the carrier whereby the follower follows a reciprocal linear path within the slot.

    摘要: A jigsaw drive shaft is connected to a blade by the blade clamp of the present invention. The blade clamp comprises a clamp body mounted securely to the drive shaft by a bracket. The clamp body has a hollow portion formed to receive an upper portion the jigsaw blade. The clamp body also includes a hollow tubular extension. A cam body is pivotable about an axis through a cylindrical bore such that cam surfaces move in and out of contact with an interior surface of the clamp body to engage or release the blade. A spring biases the cam body into engagement with the clamp body surface. The user must press on a protrusion of the cam body to pivot the cam surfaces way from the clamp surface and against the force of the spring.

    摘要: An armature for an electric motor has a lamination stack on a shaft with a commutator mounted on one end of the shaft. Magnet wires wound in slots in the lamination stack, the commutator and armature shaft are at least partially encapsulated in thermoset. The commutator has a commutator ring divided into a plurality of segments with slots between the segments that are filled with a second plastic when the commutator is made by molding a core of the second plastic, such as phenolic, in the commutator ring before the commutator ring is mounted on the armature shaft. Prior to molding the thermoset, the commutator ring is sealed. The seal prevents the thermoset from flowing into the slots between the commutator ring segments or over the commutator ring.

The locking arm (76) has a slot (84) for engaging a tooth (86) on a scroll selector (48) for moving the locking arm between the first, second and third positions thereof. The tooth (86) remains in engagement with the slot (84) during movement of the locking arm between the first, second and third positions.
