摘要: A method, a computer program containing instructions, and an apparatus for qualifying a device driver for a device. After a test environment is initiated, a test on the device driver is performed. This involves a device emulator emulating a behavior of the device under stipulated conditions. During the test, the device emulator performs an error injection or a test on at least one rarely occurring case.

摘要: Playback of audio data is controlled by: receiving a speech signal to be conveyed to a user simultaneously with playback of the audio data. Volume and/or spectral appearance of selected elements of the audio data are then modified to obtain adjusted audio data, and the adjusted audio data is played back. The received speech signal may then be played back simultaneously with the adjusted audio data.

摘要: A controller for an agent of a group of agents, in particular for a group of autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicles, and to a computer program implementing such a controller. A temporal deep network for such a controller and to a method, a computer program and an apparatus for training the temporal deep network. The controller includes a temporal deep network designed to calculate a desired trajectory for the agent, a nonlinear model predictive controller designed to calculate commands for the agent based on the desired trajectory and desired trajectories of the other agents of the group of agents, and an augmented memory designed to integrate historic system states of the group of agents for the temporal deep network.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for avoiding collisions between vehicles, comprising receiving data that represent a first travel path of a vehicle, the first travel path being a most probable path of the first vehicle, receiving data that represent at least one second travel path of at least one further vehicle, the second travel path being a most probable path of one of the further vehicles, determining whether the first travel path collides with the second travel path and, upon determination of a travel path collision, initiating generation of a signal to warn a driver of at least one of the vehicles of a possible collision with another vehicle. Additionally disclosed is a similar method for avoiding collisions between vehicles, which is executed by a device in a first vehicle. In this method, additionally, a current position of the first vehicle can be detected, and the travel path of the first vehicle is determined on the basis of the detected current position. Additionally disclosed are corresponding server systems and apparatuses in a vehicle that execute the methods, as well as a computer program product, having portions of program code, that can be executed on a processor system.

摘要: A method for operating a navigation device. The navigation device carries out a position determination on the basis of received signals. In parallel, another position determination is carried out on the basis of signals from inertial sensors. These two determined positions are compared. If these two determined positions differ by more than a predetermined amount, which has been defined by a predetermined limit value, an error value is recognized. If an impermissible deviation is recognized, then especially the direction of movement, the speed differences and the position changes are taken into account. When the error value is recognized, shaded areas in the surroundings of the vehicle are determined and associated with the determined momentary position, as a result of which an association with a lane level is carried out.

摘要: A technical solution is provided for graphical representation of road segments by employing hardware tessellation, wherein cartographic data that describe at least one two-dimensional or three-dimensional road contour of the road segment are assigned to each road segment. One method aspect comprises the steps of piecewise partitioning the parametrization of the road segment into mutually independent curve segments, of providing at least one tessellation factor for each curve segment, the at least one tessellation factor specifying into how many subsegments each curve segment is to be subdivided in the direction of the road contour, of generating a tessellation pattern for each curve segment based on the at least one tessellation factor, and of generating primitives, capable of being represented on a screen, on the basis of the generated tessellation pattern and on the basis of the parametrized road contour.
