摘要: A microfluidic device for concentrating particles contained in a fluid sample (FS) comprises a substrate (11) configured for being set in rotation about a centre of rotation (5a), the substrate (11) having a surface (11b) defined in which is at least one microfluidic arrangement (12) that extends substantially according to a plane identified by the substrate (11). The at least one microfluidic arrangement (12) comprises at least one microchannel (13) having a first end (13a) and a second end (13b), wherein: —the at least one microchannel (13) comprises, in a region thereof intermediate between its first end (13a) and its second end (13a), at least one accumulation area (15) that is at a first distance (R1) in a radial direction (R) from the centre of rotation (5a) of the substrate (11); —the first end (13a) and the second end (13b) of the at least one microchannel (13) are at second distances (R2) in a radial direction (R) from the centre of rotation (5a) of the substrate (11); and —the first distance (R1) in a radial direction (R) is greater than the second distances (R2) in a radial direction (R), in such a way that particles (P) possibly contained in a volume of fluid of the fluid sample (FS) that penetrates into the at least one microchannel (13) tend to concentrate in the at least one accumulation area (15) as a result of the centrifugal force caused by a rotation of the substrate (11) about the centre of rotation (5a).

摘要: A sensor device for monitoring dielectric strength of a dielectric fluid has a sensor body which supports a sensitive part (SGi), designed for contact with the dielectric fluid. The sensitive part (SGi) comprises at least one pair of electrodes (E1, E2) having respective surface portions arranged at a predefined micrometric or sub-micrometric distance, to define therebetween at least one detection gap between which part of the dielectric fluid is suitable to seep in. The sensor device has a circuit arrangement comprising: —means for generating an electric field between the two electrodes of the at least one pair of electrodes (E1, E2) starting from a known supply voltage, and—means (V) for measuring a voltage representative of possible occurrence of an electric discharge between the two electrodes of the at least one pair of electrodes (E1, E2) through the dielectric fluid (5) present in the at least one detection gap (G), following generation of the electric field.

摘要: A level sensor comprises an electrical-connection structure and a level-detection structure. The level-detection structure comprises a plurality of elongated electrodes, which include at least three measuring electrodes. The elongated electrodes extend at least partially in side-by-sidey positions in a length direction of the level-detection structure and each have a proximal end and a distal end relative to the electrical-connection structure. The level-detection structure is divided, in the length direction, into a succession of detection sections, each of which includes two effective portions of two respective measuring electrodes, the two effective portions extending to a prevalent extent substantially parallel and equidistant, at a first predetermined distance from each other, in the length direction. In the detection sections there also extends, in the length direction, a non-effective portion of one further elongated electrode other than the two measuring electrodes that define the two effective portions of the corresponding detection section, the at least one further elongated electrode being one measuring electrode or else a reference electrode. The elongated electrodes are shaped in such a way that, at one or more of the detection sections, the non-effective portion of the at least one further elongated electrode extends to a prevalent extent at respective second predetermined distances from the corresponding two effective portions, the second predetermined distances being greater than the first predetermined distance.

摘要: A hydraulic control device for liquid-conducting appliances and systems is designed for connection between a source of liquid and an appliance or system using the liquid. The hydraulic control device (1) comprises: —a device body (2′, 3′) having a duct for the liquid (30a, 30b) that extends between an inlet connector (2a) and an outlet connector (3 a); —a flow meter (40, 50) associated to the device body (2\ 3′); and—a valve arrangement (31, 33-37) associated to the device body (2′, 3′), including a valve member (31), which is displaceable between an opening position and a closing position of the duct for the liquid (30a, 30b), and a control mechanism (33-37) for controlling the valve member (31). The control mechanism (33-37) is switchable on the basis of a detection made by the flow meter (40, 50) in order to displace the valve member (31) from the opening position to the closing position of the duct for the liquid (30a, 30b). The flow meter (40, 50) is a non-mechanical flow meter that includes at least two electrical detection elements (42) that are reachable by liquid that flows in the duct for the liquid (30a, 30b).

The optical sensor device (1) comprises a protection arrangement, configured for preventing possible deformation of the detection portion (14) caused by an increase in volume of the fluid substance (LS), in particular deformation of at least one of its inner surface (23a, 23b) and its outer surface (15). The protection arrangement comprises at least one compensation element (13) having an elastically deformable body, which is able to contract, for compensating thereby a possible increase in volume of the fluid substance (LS) or else for enabling a reversible displacement of the detection portion (14) following upon a possible increase in volume of the fluid substance (LS).

摘要: A capacitive level-sensor device, for detecting the level of at least one medium contained in a container comprises: a detection part that includes an array of capacitive elements, the array of capacitive elements comprising at least one set of electrodes on a substrate, the electrodes being set at a distance from one another according to a level-detection axis, the detection part including at least one insulating layer for electrically insulating the electrodes with respect to the medium; and a control circuit having a plurality of first inputs, electrically connected to which are the electrodes. The control circuit is prearranged for carrying out a sequential sampling of the inputs of the plurality of first inputs and for comparing a value representing the capacitance associated to each electrode with at least one corresponding reference threshold.
The detection part further comprises at least one temperature sensor, connected to at least one respective second input of the control circuit.
The control circuit is moreover prearranged for carrying out a compensation of at least one of the following: the value representing electrical capacitance associated to each electrode; a value indicating the medium facing each electrode and the at least one reference threshold, according to information representing at least one temperature value acquired on the at least one second input.
