摘要： An apparatus [10] for providing an automatic lateral scrubbing motion when a test membrane [22] engages a device under test (DUT) (not shown). Included are a fixed length flexure pivot assembly [30] and a pair of variable length flexure pivot assemblies [38]. Signal traces, signal trace terminals, and contact bumps [23, 25, 60] are formed for communicating electrical signals between the apparatus [10] and the DUT. Surface [54] is formed to define an aperture [51] through itself, formed for securing over itself the membrane [22] when stretched; it is disposed for being coupled to membrane [22]. Finally included is a carrier [12], formed for suspending the hexagonal translation stage [28] and fixed and variable length flexure pivot assemblies [30 and 38].

The heartbeat generation module may provide a heartbeat signal different than the event signal along the signal path. The signal detection module may determine a presence of the event signal and an absence of the heartbeat signal. The repositioning module may move the image forming module from a first position to a second position in response to a determination of the presence of the event signal.

摘要： A videoconferencing system and method of automating access to a videoconferencing room is provided. The videoconferencing system includes a reservation controller for comparing remote identifying information and local identifying information and for receiving a deposit. A payment collector is in communication with the reservation controller for receiving the deposit from the reservation controller. An access controller is in communication with the payment collector and the reservation controller for allowing access to the videoconferencing room if the remote identifying information matches the local identifying information. The method includes the steps of receiving remote identifying information, receiving local identifying information, comparing the local identifying information to the remote identifying information, and electronically unlocking a door of the videoconferencing room if the local identifying information matches the remote identifying information.

摘要： An approximate enumerative coding method (100, 200) and apparatus (300) employ a cardinality-approximating (C-A) lower bound in mapping a message M to a 2-dimensional (2-D) codeword array that satisfies a 2-D constraint. The method (100) includes encoding the message M as a codeword array X using an encoder apparatus. The encoding determines entries in a codeword array X using the C-A lower bound. The C-A lower bound is a function of several terms, namely a memory term k, a cardinality of a set of sequences satisfying a horizontal constraint, a columnar extension probability of the 2-D constraint, and a non-negative constant that is a function of the columnar extension probability. The apparatus (300) includes an encoder processor (310), memory (320) and a computer program (330) stored in the memory (320) and executed by the encoder processor (310).

摘要： Systems and methods for roaming between a mobile node and at least one serving node connected to a network are disclosed. The present application provides a method for roaming between. In the system and method, a first communication is established between the mobile node and one of the serving nodes through a control server, when an Ethernet transceiver is used by the mobile node. Ethernet is used for communications between the mobile node and the control server, and a wireless communication technology for communications between the control server and the serving node. The control server also translates communications between Ethernet and the wireless communication technology. In the system and method, a second communication is established between the mobile node and one of the serving nodes with the wireless communication technology, when a wireless communication technology transceiver is used by the mobile node.

摘要： A Bluetooth-enabled computing device includes a user interface for displaying a prompt to specify a descriptive identifier for a network device prior to performance of a Bluetooth Device Discovery Routine, the descriptive identifier being different from Bluetooth Device Discovery Routine Identifiers. A system memory has entries including descriptive identifiers, each descriptive identifier corresponding to a network device pre-configured with a connection profile. A connection manager determines if a specified descriptive identifier is a match to any entry in the system memory and to implements a connection to a network device corresponding to a matching entry. Otherwise the connection manager performs a discovery routine to locate and establish a connection to at least one available network device corresponding to the specified descriptive identifier. A Bluetooth compatible wireless transceiver is operable to transmit and receive signals associated with the connection to the network device and the discovery routine.
