Abstract: A system for displaying an omnidirectional light show for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is disclosed herein. The system comprises an LED matrix comprising a plurality of LEDs distributed on the outer surface area of a body of the UAV. A Ground Control Station (GCS) is communicatively coupled to the UAV and is configured to transmit at least one flight program and at least one light program, wherein the at least one flight program and the at least one light program are synchronized in time and events. A LED light control unit is configured on the UAV and is communicatively coupled to the GCS for receiving instructions from the GCS to control a plurality of LED parameters in accordance with the at least one flight program and the at least one light program.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a detachable power supply for UVA. A battery pack has two or more bonded battery cells installed at opposite poles with respect to each other. The battery pack may have switch plates connected for combining all battery cells into one electrical circuit. The power supply control board (PCB) may be connected to the battery pack through one or more contact plates made up of alloy. The battery cell terminals may be welded to the first surface of the contact plates. Second surface of the contact plates may be soldered to the PCB. PCB may contain switch knobs and power supply charge indicator functionalities. PCB may also have a set of pins that may be used to install and commission the power supply at UVA quickly and efficiently.

Abstract: A system and method establish bidirectional communication between an UAV terminal and a GCS terminal. Each terminal includes first and second communication modules. The first communication module is based on a radio module and the second communication module is based on wireless communication for data transfer. Through the radio module, the first communication unit of GCS terminal requests the UAV terminal to activate the second communication unit. The flight control data is then transmitted to the UAV terminal from the GCS terminal where the flight mission is planned and optimized.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating flight plans for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). A new flight plan is built for a UAV based on terrain data after a first flight plan is interrupted. The new flight plan is based on terrain data, where the level of detail and size of the terrain data is optimized for resource efficiency. Onboard battery levels are also factored into the calculation of the new path.

Abstract: A Ground Control Station (GCS) controls a plurality of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). The GCS comprises a web server for providing a gateway to communicate with the GCS. A UAV operation module receives data associated with flight programs and parameters associated with UAVs. A radio communication module is configured to establish an uplink communication channel with UAVs to transmit to radio messages and commands UAVs over the established communication channel. A local network provides data communication between UAVs and the UAV operation module to enable uploading of flight programs from the UAV operation module to the UAVs and downloads data associated with a parameter from UAVs to the UAV operation module.
