摘要: Provided in the present application is a holographic display system, comprising an on-site holographic display system, a transmissive geometric holographic display system, a geometric holographic display system with folded optical path, and a reflective geometric holographic display system. A display element capable of directly displaying screens provided with depth of field information is used to project a diverging 3D image in the air without the aid of another reference light source. The image is converted by a projection screen of an equivalent negative refractive index flat lens to then obtain an observable 3D image suspended in the air, which reduces costs. At the same time, the 3D image may be displayed in front of or behind the projection screen, the display space is infinite, and in a very small device space, a super large screen and super deep depth of field may also be displayed.

摘要: This invention concerns a method of filming a subject to be projected as a Pepper's Ghost image. The method may comprise filming a subject under a lighting arrangement having one or more front lights for illuminating a front of a subject and one or more backlights. The lights may be controlled such that the total brightness of the one or more front lights, as measured of the subject, is less than or approximately the same as the total brightness of the one or more backlights, as measured at the subject. The subject may be located directly above one or more floor lights such the subject is illuminated from below by the one or more floor lights.

摘要: Apparatus and methods for displaying an image by a rotating structure are provided. The rotating structure can comprise blades of a fan. The fan can be a cooling fan for an electronics device such as an augmented reality display. In some embodiments, the rotating structure comprises light sources that emit light to generate the image. The light sources can comprise light-field emitters. In other embodiments, the rotating structure is illuminated by an external (e.g., non-rotating) light source.

摘要: Disclosed embodiments include an energy directing device having one or more energy relay elements configured to direct energy from one or more energy locations through the device. In an embodiment, surfaces of the one or more energy relay elements may form a singular seamless energy surface where a separation between adjacent energy relay element surfaces is less than a minimum perceptible contour. In disclosed embodiments, energy is produced at energy locations having an active energy surface and a mechanical envelope. In an embodiment, the energy directing device is configured to relay energy from the energy locations through the singular seamless energy surface while minimizing separation between energy locations due to their mechanical envelope. In embodiments, the energy relay elements may comprise energy relays utilizing transverse Anderson localization phenomena.
