摘要： The present invention comprises a neck extending upwardly from a container and having an upper rim defining a neck opening. The neck has a substantially vertical sidewall of a constant thickness and at least one container neck thread extending from the sidewall. The at least one neck thread has an outer thread face drafted from a radially inward upper position to a radially outward lower position. The device further comprises a closure having a top wall and a skirt depending from the top wall, wherein the skirt is tapered. The closure comprises a closure thread extending helically along an inner surface of the skirt. The container thread has increasing radial length moving downwardly along the container neck.

摘要： A closure (5) suitable for mounting onto a container (80). A closure comprises a main closure (10) having a top portion (11) that has an aperture (32) therethrough and a skirt (12) depending downwardly from the top portion (11) that is attachable to the container. A sealing rib (16) extends inwardly from the inner surface of the main closure (10) and is adapted to form a seal with the end portion of the container (80). A spout (33) extends upwardly from the top portion (11) and defines a bore that is in fluid communication with the aperture (32) in the top portion (11). A plug (36) having radially outer surface is mounted to the spout (33). The closure further comprises a top cap (50) that is mountable to the spout and is relatively movable between a first position where the plug (36) seals an opening in the top cap (5) and at least a second position where the plug (36) is withdrawn from the opening. On relative movement of the top cap (50) from the first position towards the second position, a sealing member (59) of the top cap (50) rides up over one or more protuberances (40) extending outwardly from the spout so as to at least partially release the seal made by the sealing member (59) with the spout (33).

摘要： The dispensing closure is provided having a stopping mechanism that limits the rotation of the closure and generally prevents removal of the closure from the container. The dispensing closure includes a cap body, fitment, and container finish. The cap body has a double shell design, which includes at least one drop lug reverse tapered from the inner shell. When the cap body is rotated about the container finish, the reverse tapered drop lug engages at least one lug stop located on the container finish so as to limit the rotation, thereby preventing removal of the cap body from the container finish. The reverse taper of the drop lug maximizes the abutment surface and stability of the drop lug when engaging the corresponding lug stop.

摘要： A threaded tamper indicating closure-container package provides an indication of initial opening by how far the closure threads onto the container neck. In the original package condition the bottom of the closure skirt is adjacent a shoulder on the container. After the package has been initially opened and the closure reapplied, the bottom of the closure skirt is noticeably above the container shoulder. A word message such as "opened" can also be exposed on the container neck between the shoulder and the bottom of the closure skirt when the closure is reapplied.

摘要： A method of molding a container closure providing selective fluid communication between an interior of a fluid container and an exterior environment, the method comprising: (i) configuring and closing a mold having a first cavity negatively defining a base of a container closure that includes a spout and a container mount, where the spout and container mount cooperate to define a conduit therethrough in fluid communication with an outlet orifice of the spout; (ii) injecting a first material into the first cavity to mold the base; (iii) cooling the first material in the mold to impart at least minimal rigidity to the base; (iv) reconfiguring at least a portion of the mold to define a second cavity adjacent to the first material, the second cavity negatively defining a cap covering the outlet orifice of the spout; (v) injecting a second material into the second cavity to mold the cap over the outlet orifice; (vi) cooling the second material in the mold to impart at least minimal rigidity to the cap; and (vii) removing the base and integrally formed cap from the mold.
