    Abstract: A sensor cover for a sensor system configured to remove weather-induced soiling for the unimpaired use of a sensor within the sensor system is disclosed. The sensor cover includes at least one sensor section and at least one base body extending over the sensor. At least one electrode section is provided on the base body. The sensor cover includes at least one piezoactive actuator for generating sound waves in the sensor cover, with the piezoactive actuator arranged at the electrode section of the base body. Additionally disclosed is a sensor system incorporating the sensor cover and a motor vehicle equipped with the sensor system.

    Abstract: Technologies and techniques for dynamic fixed pattern correction for an image sensor. A current image and a previous image received in the image sensor is stored and a bias and gain is computed for the current image, wherein the computing includes processing the current image together with a current local average value, the previous image, and a previous local average value. A gain correction value and a bias correction value is generated based on the computing, and the gain correction value and bias correction value are combined with the current image to generate a corrected image. A Bayer image is generated, based on the generated corrected image.

    Abstract: Technologies and techniques for laterally controlling a motor vehicle on a road, where a roadway marking assigned to a driver's side of the motor vehicle is assigned to a lane type based on sensor data. The lane type characterizes whether the roadway marking is assigned to an ego lane on which the motor vehicle is to be guided, or whether it is assigned to a neighboring lane adjacent to the ego lane. The roadway marking is also assigned to the lane type, based on swarm data, and the lane type assigned to the roadway marking is established as the lane type that is determined as a function of the swarm data when the sensor lane type and the swarm data lane type diverge. The motor vehicle is laterally controlled as a function of the established lane type of the roadway marking assigned to the driver's side of the motor vehicle.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method and a driver assistance system for assisted reversing with a vehicle-trailer combination, wherein, initially when it is driven forwards, its forward trajectory is stored and objects arranged laterally next to the forward trajectory are detected. A reversing trajectory, which deviates as little as possible from the driven forward trajectory, is planned. The detected object is classified as a collision object if it lies in the planned reversing trajectory. In such case, a new reversing trajectory that is free of collision objects is generated. The trailer is reversed along the new reversing trajectory. A current deviation of an actual reversing trajectory of the trailer from the new reversing trajectory is thereby determined, and when the current deviation is greater than a permissible limit deviation, the trailer is stopped to allow performing a corrective action. The assisted reversing is resumed after corrective action has been performed.

    Abstract: A mobile access system for granting access to a device, particularly a vehicle, is disclosed. The system includes a transmitter unit for wirelessly transmitting an unlock signal, a sensor unit with a gyroscopic sensor for detecting movement, and a control unit connected to the sensor unit. The control unit receives sensor data, recognizes a sequence of movements, checks if it matches a predefined first sequence, and unblocks the system if there is a match, enabling the unlock signal transmission only in the unblocked state. The system may also include an input unit for additional user input and an indication element for user feedback. It can block the system based on a second predefined sequence. A method for granting access using this mobile access system is also described.
