摘要: An LED light source comprising a housing having an upper end, a lower end, a sidewall extending between the upper and lower ends and a longitudinal axis extending between the upper and lower ends wherein, in a plane that is transverse to the longitudinal axis, the sidewall comprises a light emitting face that extends 360° around the housing; a longitudinally extending light pipe wherein the light pipe has a light emitting surface which is circular in cross-section in the plane that is transverse to the longitudinal axis, whereby, in operation, the light pipe emits light 360° around the light emitting surface of the light pipe; an LED which, in operation, directs light into the light pipe; and, a mounting member that is provided on the lower end of the LED light source and that is connectable to a surface.

When the surface cleaning apparatus is positioned on a horizontal surface with the upper end of the air treatment chamber above the lower end of the air treatment chamber, the pre-motor filter is positioned at a higher elevation than the suction motor.

摘要: Provided are computer implemented systems and methods for providing improved language translation, including translation of input text to an output translated text Selement. This may include providing for rule-based language translation. This may further include a plurality of machine translation models adapted to different translation domains. A machine translation selector is described that selects an in-domain machine translator from the plurality of machine translation models based on an input text element. The selected in-domain machine translator may generate a first translated text element from the input text element. A post-editor module may generate a second translated text element by predicting a post-edit to the first translated text element. The first translated text element and the second translated text element are evaluated by a quality evaluation model that determines a first metric associated with the first translated text element and a second metric associated with the second text element.

摘要: A satellite with deployable optics is provided. The satellite has a frame, an optical axis, and a deployable optical system. The optical system has a mechanical aperture perpendicular to the optical axis, where light collected travels substantially parallel to the optical axis. The optical system has a stored configuration in which it remains within the frame and a deployed configuration in which it extends outside the frame. In some configurations, the light-collecting area of the deployed configuration is larger than the possible light-collecting area of the stored configuration. In a partially deployed configuration, all of the primary mirror segments remain substantially within the frame, and the light-collecting area is smaller than that in the deployed configuration. A method of using the satellite includes setting the satellite to the deployed configuration, detecting whether there is a deployment malfunction, and, if so, setting the satellite to a partially deployed configuration.

摘要: A process for preparing a metal hydroxide comprising (i) at least one metal chosen from nickel and cobalt and optionally (ii) at least one metal chosen from manganese, lithium and aluminum. The process comprises:
reacting a metal sulfate comprising (i) at least one metal chosen from nickel and cobalt and optionally (iii) at least one metal chosen from manganese and aluminum with sodium hydroxide and optionally a chelating agent in order to obtain a solid comprising the metal hydroxide and a liquid comprising sodium sulfate;
separating the liquid and the solid from one another to obtain the metal hydroxide;
submitting the liquid comprising sodium sulfate to an electromembrane process for converting the sodium sulfate into sodium hydroxide; and
reusing the sodium hydroxide obtained by the electromembrane process for reacting with the metal sulfate.
