    摘要: Provided are a stream distribution system and a failure detection method capable of easily identifying the cause of quality loss in stream distribution. This stream distribution system includes a first server for communicating with a client terminal via a router and sending stream data, and a second server configured as a redundant server of the first server and connected to the first server. The first server has a communication status notification unit for sending a connection management table concerning the communication with the client terminal to the second server. The second server has a packet recording unit for acquiring a mirror packet, which is a copy of a packet sent to the first server, from the router, and a network failure monitoring unit for detecting a failure in a network between the first server and the client terminal based on the connection management table and a packet buffer.

    摘要: Techniques for user profile-based system level management (SLM) and creation of system level agreements of a wireless device are generally disclosed. In some examples, a predictor may be provided to predict a future task to be performed by a wireless device, including resource requirements, based at least in part on a profile of a user and at least one of a profile of a communication partner the user, an operational recommendation, a performance model or a current state. An optimizer/analyzer may be provided to generate a plurality of instructions to configure the wireless device, based at least in part on the predicted future task and resource requirement, and a quality of service requirement of the wireless device, in anticipation of having to perform the predicted task. In various examples, the predictor and the optimizer/analyzer may form a local or a remotely disposed system level manager.

    摘要: There are provided a radiation detection module, a printed circuit board, and a radiological imaging apparatus which make it possible to enhance spatial resolution without increasing channel number, and thereby to perform high-accuracy diagnosis. The radiation detection module includes a plurality of radiation detectors, and a wiring board on which the plurality of radiation detectors are mounted in a manner of being arranged in at least a radiation traveling direction. Here, on the wiring board, a pair of the radiation detectors which are adjacent to each other in the radiation traveling direction are electrically connected to each other, thereby configuring one detector structure (i.e., detection channel). Moreover, the radiation detectors are mounted onto the wiring board such that respective connection parts of electrodes, which are to be electrically connected to each other, are in a mutually-facing state.

    摘要: A mixer is connected to a signal generator and an antenna and outputs a signal at an intermediate frequency. A PLL demodulator subjects the signal at the intermediate frequency from the mixer to PLL demodulation. An amplifier amplifies a signal from the PLL demodulator. A detector detects an amount of shift occurring in the PLL demodulator. A detector detects a gain of the amplifier. An FSK demodulator subjects a signal from the amplifier to FSK demodulation. An AFC unit detects a frequency offset in the signal from the amplifier and causes the signal generator to make a correction for the frequency offset detected.

    摘要: Improvements to enhance electronic books, particularly improvements having both a viewing and audio enunciation capability are disclosed. A exemplary user control is provided enabling a reader to receive a “recap” up to a point designated by the reader or, alternatively, allow the reader to “finish the book” by being provided with a summary, covering the material from a given point to the end. In another example, a pointing device (e.g., a touch pad) is provided along with curser on the display, enabling a reader to click on words for additional information. In still another example, when material of any kind is “read” to a user, the device may be used to automatically display images on the display screen associated with the material being read. In another example, an electronic book may be provided with a communications link or a short-range radio transmitter, such as a low-power FM transmitter.

    摘要: A reception sensitivity is measured at a high precision. An access terminal function portion includes the transmitter part and receiver part of a communication terminal in a radio communication system. A path switch part effects switching to connect the input ends of receivers to antennas or to terminate them. The path switch part switches the paths of a signal from a transmitter and signals toward the receivers. An access point controller adjusts a packet error rate into a predetermined range, and obtains the reception sensitivity based on the transmission power of the access terminal function portion after the adjustment.
