摘要: Mixed signal multipliers and methods for operating the same include a sampling capacitor and an accumulate capacitor. A sampling switch is configured to store an analog value on the sampling capacitor when a digital bit value of a digital signal is one and to store a zero when the digital bit value of the digital signal is a zero. An accumulate switch is configured to store an average of the stored value of the sampling capacitor and a previous stored value of the accumulate capacitor. A processor is configured to alternately trigger the sampling capacitor and the sampling capacitor for each bit value in the digital signal.

摘要: A plurality of containers can be configured for running applications associated to at least one node of a distributed computing environments. The containers of the plurality of containers includes integrated intelligence that provides an in memory state component that detects how container instances are running. A quorum synchronization component of the integrated intelligence can coordinate the activities of the containers. A first container can be initiated for running a first node application. The memory state component can determine if a topology exists in the plurality of containers that is running an existing application matching the first node application. The quorum synchronization component of the integrated intelligence can coordinate running of the first node application with the first container with the existing application.

摘要: A method is presented for forming a wrap around contact. The method includes forming a p-type epitaxial region and an n-type epitaxial region over a substrate, forming a dielectric pillar between the p-type epitaxial region and the n-type epitaxial region, depositing sacrificial liners around both the p-type epitaxial region and the n-type epitaxial region, and depositing an inter-layer dielectric (ILD). The method further includes forming trenches in the ILD extending into the sacrificial liners, wherein the trenches are vertically aligned with the p-type epitaxial region and the n-type epitaxial region, removing the sacrificial liners to define irregular-shaped openings exposing the p-type epitaxial region and the n-type epitaxial region, and filling the irregular-shaped openings with a conductive material defining the wrap around contact.

摘要: Methods of forming a boat hull include applying an outer polymer layer onto a hull mold, the outer polymer layer being impregnated with a biologically active chemical substance that inhibits biofouling-induced chemical, biological, and bio-proliferative damage. An inner polymer layer is applied onto the outer polymer layer, the inner polymer layer being impregnated with a biologically active chemical substance that inhibits biofouling-induced chemical, biological, and bio-proliferative damage. One or more layers of fiberglass matting are applied on the inner polymer layer, the fiberglass matting being saturated with a polymer selected from one of a group of polymers comprising a vinyl ester polymer, a phthalic unsaturated polyester polymer, and an epoxy polymer.

摘要: An endoscopic sheath holding tip and stabilization system is configured to be connected to a table mounted flexible or rigid arm or other surgical support device used over the patient during a surgical procedure. The sheath holder includes a hook structure configured to engage the underside of the scope sheath (e.g., inflow and outflow ports), while a plunger mechanism engages the top surface of the sheath. The downward pressure of the plunger mechanism working against the upward forces of the hook structure operate to stabilize the scope sheath without requiring user intervention. In this manner, the scope and other instruments can be introduced into the stabilized scope sheath without requiring user assistance to hold the scope once positioned in the stabilized sheath.

摘要: A method and an apparatus for data retrieval in a lightfield database are described. An acquiring unit of the apparatus acquires a sample data. An operation unit determines a plurality of two-dimensional (2D) images from each 4D lightfield data of the lightfield database, and match the sample data with the determined 2D images according to geometrical parameters of the sample data and geometrical parameters of the 2D images. One of the 2D images is selected as a target image based on the matching result, and the 4D lightfield from which the target image is determined is retrieved.

摘要: An automated in-mold label handling and product unloading device for use with a plastic material injection molding machine includes a label handling arm provided with a label holder at an outer end thereof, and a product unloading arm provided with a product gripper at an outer end thereof. The device has a stationary frame and a first linear guide device that supports the label handling arm so as to reciprocate along a y-axis direction. The device has a second linear guide device that supports the product unloading arm so as to reciprocate along a y-axis direction. The first and second linear guide devices are guided relative to the frame to be movable parallel to the x-axis. A label handling arm x-axis drive mechanism has a first drive motor mounted on the frame and a first transmission coupled to said first drive motor and to the first linear guide device.

摘要: A technique for training a model includes obtaining a training example for a model having model parameters stored on one or more computer readable storage mediums operably coupled to the hardware processor. The training example includes an outcome and features to explain the outcome. A gradient is calculated with respect to the model parameters of the model using the training example. Two estimates of a moment of the gradient with two different time constants are computed for the same type of the moment using the gradient. Using a hardware processor, the model parameters of the model are updated using the two estimates of the moment with the two different time constants to reduce errors while calculating the at least two estimates of the moment of the gradient.
