Abstract: A prosthetic coupling device includes an internal mount including a proximate shaft portion and a distal mounting portion, a threaded sleeve formed around the distal mounting portion of the internal mount, the threaded sleeve including outer threads, and a rotatable barrel formed around the proximate shaft portion and the distal mounting portion of the internal mount, the rotatable barrel including internal barrel threads that interface with the outer threads of the threaded sleeve. The prosthetic coupling device further includes a detachable coupler formed to fit within the distal mounting portion of the internal mount, the detachable coupler including a coupler detent formed on a radially external surface of the detachable coupler. The prosthetic coupling device further includes a horizontal ball bearing shaft formed through the internal mount, the horizontal ball bearing shaft housing a ball bearing set wherein the ball bearing set interfaces with the coupler detent to lock the detachable coupler to the internal mount when the outer threads of the threaded sleeve are fully seated into the internal barrel threads.

Abstract: This document discusses, among other things a server interface to bridge communications between a desktop application and a web server. In an example embodiment, the server interface translates a communication from the desktop application (e.g., in a desktop programming language) to HyperText Markup Language (HTML) and transfers the translated communication over a network to a web server.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus including computer programs encoded on computer storage media for producing line multiplied images with better visual appearance. In one aspect, before lines of the image are multiplied, they are dithered with a noise signal that increases faster with higher frequency along the multiplied dimension of the image data than along the non multiplied dimension of the image. This results in a line multiplied image was improved image quality.

Abstract: Embodiments of a method and system for payment funding are provided. A funding specification request is received that defines a plurality of payment sources and a priority for the plurality of payment sources for making payments in a networked system. A determination as to whether a payment allocation is received in the funding specification request that designates an allocation of a portion of an amount of value to be provided by a plurality of users for a transaction conducted through the networked system is made. Based on the determination that the payment allocation is not received in the funding specification request, a default payment allocation to be provided by the plurality of users is identified. A payment for at least the portion of the amount from at least one of the plurality of payment sources based on the priority indicated in the funding specification request is processed.

Abstract: A method for obtaining bacteriophages by stressing bacteria. The method involves isolating bacteria, propagating the bacteria, exposing the bacteria to at least one environmental stressing agent to induce excision of bacteriophage that are present in the bacterial genome. Multiple or individual environmental stressing agents may be applied. These liberated bacteriophages may be collected for purposes of treating pathogenic infections, protecting plants and agricultural products or general sterilization and sanitation.
