摘要： Provided herein is a femoral component of a hip implant device, comprising a neck having a central axis; and a body distal to the neck and having a tapered portion, wherein the body has a largest cross section perpendicular to the neck central axis, the largest cross section perpendicular to the neck central axis having a maximum height dimension and a maximum width dimension, wherein the maximum width dimension is 18.5 mm or less. The hip implant can optionally be used in patients of Asian descent.

摘要： An orthopaedic injection restrictor apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a nozzle. The nozzle includes an elongated portion. The apparatus further includes an orthopaedic plug. The orthopaedic plug includes a first portion releasably engaged with the elongated portion of the nozzle and further includes a plurality of flaps extending radially outwardly from its first portion. A method for restricting injection of a substance into a cavity within a bone with a plug is also provided. The method includes the steps of injecting the substance into the cavity and ejecting the plug into the cavity simultaneously with the injecting step.

摘要： Provided are acetabular cup implant assemblies that can be used in hip replacement surgery. Example assemblies comprise a shell and a liner. The liner can be positioned within a shell. Optionally, the liner can be rotated relative to the shell until the liner is seated in the shell in a position where the liner and shell can be secured to one another. Waveform-shaped features of the shell and liner can guide the relative rotation of the liner and shell. Also provided are methods of seating a liner in shell of an acetabular cup implant assembly.

摘要： A radial-capitellar implant for surgical replacement of the capitellum of the humerus and, optionally, the head of the radius. The radial-capitellar implant includes a capitellar implant or surface replacement arthroplasty of the capitellum and a radial prosthesis for replacement of the head of the radius. In one embodiment the radial prosthesis includes an articular head which moveable articulates with a stem implantable in the radius.
