    摘要: A hemo(dia)filtration apparatus (10) is described comprising a dialyzer (12) and two sterile filters (38) and (60). The first chambers (42) and (64) of both sterile filters (38) and (60) may be switched at least intermittently during flow through, thereby flushing out membranes (40) and (62) of both sterile filters (38) and (60) and effectively preventing an accumulation of germs and pyrogens. This prevents an increase in the transmembrane pressure (TMP), which reduces the likelihood of a rupture, thereby ensuring sterility of the dialyzer fluid and improving the operating safety of the hemodiafiltration apparatus (10).

    摘要: Described is a hemo(dia)filtration apparatus (10) with two blood filters (60) and (12) connected in series and a sterile filter (38) connected upstream thereof. The first chambers (64) and (14) and the second chambers (68) and (16) of both blood filters (60) and (12) are connected to one another, respectively, by connecting lines (72) and (74). A means (76) is arranged in one of the connecting lines (72) and (74), which generates a positive transmembrane pressure in the direction of the blood path in one of the blood filters (60, 12) and a negative transmembrane pressure in the direction of the blood path (80) in the other blood filter (12, 60). This eliminates a costly substituate line with additional devices arranged therein, since the dialyzer fluid is passed as a substituate solution through the membrane of the one blood filter directly into the blood. Furthermore, with the use of suitable devices it is possible to precisely determine and individually adjust the filtrate and substituate flows.

    摘要: This invention relates to a reactor unit with a first chamber and a second chamber, wherein the first chamber is formed by the interior of a housing and wherein the second chamber is formed by the interior of a plurality of hollow fibers arranged in the housing. The hollow fibers are arranged in the housing such that their density in at least one region of the first chamber does not exceed 10 fibers/mm2, based on the cross-sectional area of the first chamber. In accordance with another aspect of the invention it is provided that in the reactor unit two casting compounds are arranged, in which a portion of the hollow fibers is embedded and between which another portion of the hollow fibers extends, wherein the length of at least some or all hollow fibers is at least 0.5% greater than the distance of the casting compounds.
