    摘要: A method and system for impaired driving detection, monitoring and accident prevention with driving habits. An impairment test method is provided with an impairment test determining in real-time whether a driver of vehicle is impaired (e.g., has used drugs, alcohol, is distracted, talking, texting, eating, etc. or is drowsy, etc.). The impairment test determines plural assigned probability impairment values over a pre-determined time interval to compare a frequency of received plural event signals from a passenger compartment of the vehicle for one or more of the plural driver performance actions completed by a driver of a vehicle to those previously stored in a unique driver profile for the driver to determine with a statistical probability whether the driver operating the vehicle may be impaired based on the unique behavior patterns for the driver of the vehicle stored in the unique driver profile. The unique driver profile includes unique behavior patterns of the driver comprising “habit evidence” to determine if a driver may be impaired.

A unique driver profile is created with a portable on-board diagnostic series 2 (OBD-2) apparatus and/or linked and/or standalone network device (e.g., smart phone, tablet, wearable device, etc.). The unique driver profile is created from the accepted plural signals including time and geo-location data based on driving habits of the driver. The unique driver profile information is recorded on the apparatus and/or network device, downloaded at a later time or sent in real-time to check and verify an identity of the driver. The unique driver profile helps confirm an identity of the driver of the vehicle based on unique driving habits of the driver.

    摘要: A pipe connector which comprises a tubular box member that is telescopically engageable with a tubular pin member, the members having corresponding frusto-conical inner and outer peripheral surfaces which overlie one another when the members are fully engaged together. To axially lock the members together, the frusto-conical surfaces are provided with pairs of interengageable annular projections and grooves. The projections and grooves have varying axial extents and spacings so that, as the members are telescoped together, in all intermediate positions of the members, there is sufficient contact between crests of the grooves and surfaces between the projections to prevent inadvertent premature engagement of a projection with a groove.

    摘要: A method and system for biometric identity confirmation is based on the pulse wave of a subject. During an initial enrollment mode, pulse wave data for a known subject are used to generate subject characterization data for the known subject. During a subsequent operational mode, pulse wave data for a test subject are analyzed using the subject characterization data to confirm whether the identity of the test subject matches the known subject. The subject characterization data can be a probability density in a phase space in which at least two quasi-periodic variables based on the pulse wave (e.g., blood pressure and volume time-series data) are correlated.

    摘要: The pipe connector comprises a pin member and a box member which have outer and inner generally frusto-conical peripheral surfaces which overlie one another when the members are fully engaged together. To axially lock the members together, the surfaces are provided with interengaging annular projections and grooves. For disengagement of the members, pressurized fluid is supplied between the peripheral surfaces through an inlet in the box member. The ends of the peripheral surfaces are sealed, during disengagement, by providing reversely inclined annular surfaces on the free ends of the pin and box members and correspondingly at the roots of the box and pin members. In use of the connector these inclined surfaces are slightly spaced apart and are brought into sealing contact on application of pressurized fluid between the peripheral surfaces.
