摘要： The invention relates to hydrometallurgical method for recovering metals from spent energy storage devices. The method comprises combining aqueous hydrobromic acid leach solution and an electrode material of spent energy storage devices in a reaction vessel, dissolving the metals contained in the electrode material to form soluble metal bromide salts, removing elemental bromine, if formed, from the reaction vessel, separating insoluble material, if present, from the leach solution to obtain a metal-bearing solution and isolating one or more metals from said metal-bearing solution.

摘要： The present invention teaches an antimony free brominated flame retardant composition, comprising a brominated flame retardant, an organic phosphorus-containing flame retardant which is an organic phosphate that is either an amorphous solid or a liquid, and a flame retardant which is a source of nitrogen and inorganic phosphorus, this source being amorphous compound. The invention further teaches textile coating formulations comprising these compositions, a process for applying them on textile fabrics, and the flame retarded fabrics coated by these compositions and formulations.

摘要： The invention provides a process for preparing bromine-containing polymers, comprising a Friedel-Crafts alkylation reaction of pentabromobenzyl halide with a polymer reactant which contains one or more six-membered aromatic ring(s) in its repeat unit, in the presence of at least one Friedel-Crafts catalyst. The so-formed bromine-containing polymers, having pendent —CH2C6Br5 groups attached to at least a portion of the six-membered aromatic rings of the polymer, with a carbon ring atom of said six-membered aromatic ring being bonded to the aliphatic carbon of said —CH2C6Br5 pendent group, are also provided. These bromine-containing polymers are useful as flame retarding agents.

摘要： A flame retardant composition for flammable plastic materials and a method for producing the same are disclosed. The flame retardant composition comprises 2,4,6-tris(2,4,6-tribromophenoxy)-1,3,5-triazine that contains 1 to 1000 ppm of a metal species of a water-insoluble polyvalent metal compound selected from the group consisting of oxide, hydroxide, carbonate, phosphate, sulfate and silicate present in the particles of 2,4,6-tris(2,4,6-tribromophenoxy)-1,3,5-triazine. The flame retardant composition is produced by reacting an alkali metal salt of 2,4,6-tribromophenol and cyanuric chloride in the presence of said water-insoluble polyvalent metal compound.
