Abstract: Systems and methods of operation are disclosed for media delivery systems operable to deliver requested media content to a client device by accessing media resources and media processing elements available on a network to which the media delivery system and client devices are linked. The media delivery system is operable to use the media resources and media processing elements to provide the requested media content in a requested format. The media delivery system may implement network-based media processing, and may use Immersive Technologies Media Format. The media delivery system may implement, such as in, or between, the application layer and network layer according to the OSI model, two control planes: a media control plane and a network control plane, and a data plane: a media data plane.

Abstract: A system for monitoring the status of digital certificates is provided. The system includes a responder computer device. The responder computer device is programmed to store, in a database, a plurality of statuses associated with a plurality of digital certificates. The responder computer device is also programmed to receive, from a first computer device, a request message including an identifier of a target certificate. The responder computer device is further programmed to query the database to retrieve status information about the target certificate. In addition, the responder computer device is programmed to generate a response message based on the retrieved status information. Moreover, the responder computer device is programmed to transmit the response message to the first computer device.

Abstract: A server device is provided for authenticating client devices on a communication network. The server device includes a transceiver configured for operable communication with at least one client of the communication network, and a processor including a memory configured to store computer-executable instructions. When executed by the processor, the instructions cause the server device to receive an authentication request from a client device, generate a seed for a first key for the client device if the client device authenticates, transmit the seed for the first key to the client device, receive a hash of the first key from the client device, and validate the first key based on the hash of the first key.

Abstract: An ad-hoc wireless network is implemented by a plurality of wireless access points to detect and report failure of a concurrently implemented conventional network. The wireless access points collect and store network status information of the conventional network and send the network status information to a centralized emergency manager when failure of the conventional network is detected. The ad-hoc wireless network may also provide backhaul connectivity to a wireless access point of the failed conventional network for emergency communication.
