摘要： A color converting apparatus is used for designated-color printing. The apparatus is provided with a color space converting unit for converting a designated-color designated by a printing command to a converted-color in a color space represented by brightness, saturation and hue of color, and a color classifying unit for classifying the converted-color to one of plural classified-colors on the basis of the brightness, saturation and hue of said converted-color. Color correlating-relationship information is prepared, which sets correlating relationship between the plural classified-colors and one or more printing colors. The apparatus is further provided with a classified-color/printing-color correlating unit for selecting one printing color correlated with the one classified-color from among one or more printing colors, based on the color correlating-relationship information and for correlating the selected printing color with the printing command.

摘要： A page-turning device turning a page of a book includes a sticking part, an arm part and a drive unit. The sticking part sticks to the page of the book being opened. The arm part is provided with the sticking part on a top end and swings such that the sticking part sticks to the page at a departure position of the page and separates from the page at a destination position of the page while the sticking part goes to and fro between the departure position and the destination position over the page of the book. The drive unit swings the arm part around a drive shaft of the drive unit. The drive shaft is inclined with respect to a seam of the opened book and/or a plane on which the book is disposed.

摘要： A LAN control unit receives print data from a client device or the like. An input job storage unit registered on a hard disk a series of PDL commands included in the print data received. An input job queue management unit registers print job specifying information specifying a print job represented by the print data received to the end of an input job queue. A PDL interpretation/execution unit successively executes from the head of the series of PDL commands stored on the hard disk device. When it is determined that the PDL command that has been executed is a re-execution unnecessary command, the PDL interpretation/execution unit overwrites the PDL command stored on the hard disk with a NOP command.
