摘要: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for recognizing content using an audio signal. The content recognition apparatus includes a query fingerprint extraction unit for forming frames having a preset frame length for an audio signal, and generating frame-based feature vectors for respective frames, thus extracting a query fingerprint. A reference fingerprint DB stores reference fingerprints to be compared with the query fingerprint and pieces of content information corresponding to the reference fingerprints. A fingerprint matching unit determines a reference fingerprint matching the query fingerprint. In this case, the query fingerprint extraction unit forms the frames while varying a frame shift size that is an interval between start points of neighboring frames in a partial section. According to the present invention, there can be provided a content recognition apparatus and method which can maintain the accuracy and reliability of matching while promptly providing results.

摘要: A scan of F. tularensis genome for homology to a regulatory protein that controls virulence identified gene FTL0552. A knock out mutation in FTL0552 was created using reverse transcriptase PCR and the construct inserted into F. tularensis. This mutant was defective for survival in macrophages and found avirulent in in vivo testing, where the mutant exhibited reduced levels of pro-inflammatory cytokine production, reduced evidence of histopathology in affected tissues, reduced systemic infection, and rapid clearance of the bacterium. In vivo challenge studies with the FTL0552 mutant using the virulent F. tularensis subsp. tularensis SchuS4 strain show an immune response is induced, and protection afforded, after preexposure to the FTL0552 mutant. Microarray studies revealed 148 genes regulated by FTL0552, including genes located within the FPI that are essential for intracellular survival.

摘要: An integrated Web Server based vehicle management system, with Smart Electronics Registration Plate or a Smart Electronics License Plate for e-governance in Department of Motor Vehicles, law enforcement, emergency medical care, toll collection, vehicle theft detection, vehicle accident monitoring, vehicle plate and power tampering, and vehicle hijacking prevention, and ‘Amber’ alerts assistance. The Smart Electronics Registration plate uses Electrophoretic reflective display known as Electronic Ink, E-Ink, e-paper, CLEARink, requiring no power to maintain display, and conforms to present day Registration Plate or License Plate form and size with added features. System supports a smartphone based App with map to enable all the above functions to assist drivers, DMV, Police, and ER personnel. The Smart Electronics Registration Plates communicates with Web Server using personal Hotspot feature of a smartphone over Bluetooth or Wi-fi and has built in smarts for accident detection, vehicle motion detection, GPS, and plate tamper. Registration Plate uses a built in cellular modem for communication in case of no personal Hotspot in the vehicle or in crowd running system App. All the communications are secure and interaction with Web Server uses at least triple authentication.

摘要: In particular embodiments of the technology, the bulk density of the payload in the bucket of a large electric dragline is measured during the carry phase of dragline operation by scanning the loaded bucket using a boom mounted scanner to provide data relating to the volume of the loaded bucket. Suitable methods can further include calculating the volume enclosed by the surface of the payload and the known base and sides of the bucket to give payload volume, and dividing the payload volume into payload weight data derived from rope length and motor current data to give the payload bulk density. Methods of screening data points originating from surfaces other than the bucket and payload, and methods of dealing with bucket ope and sway are also described and claimed.

摘要: A method and apparatus for transceiving multiple service data from multiple communication services to a SONET/SDH communication system or network is provided. A SONET/SDH universal framer (SURF) bidirectionally provides communication between a SONET/SDH communication port and multiple service communication ports using their native data format. A provisioning register stores provisioning information describing the communication system and the communication ports. A SONET/SDH byte engine processes complex hierarchical SONET/SDH frames storing intermediate states when it changes to process a byte of data of a different STS-1 equivalent frame in a SONET/SDH STS-N frame. A service byte engine processes the multitude of service data formats and generally its intermediate states are restored, processed, and saved when it changes to process a different data stream or a different frame of data of a given service. An elastic storage means allows the SONET/SDH byte engine and the service byte engine to operate independent of one another in an asynchronous mode.
