Abstract:
Provided is a time-domain voltage comparator including a voltage-time converter. The voltage-time converter includes a conversion unit and an output unit. The conversion unit includes a first MOS transistor which shifts a voltage level of the first detection node according to an external first voltage signal, and a second MOS transistor which shifts a voltage level of the second detection node according to an external second voltage signal. The output unit generates first and second output signals in response to voltages of the first and second detection nodes. The output unit determines a shifted time of the first output signal according to a voltage level of the first detection node and determines a shifted time of the second output signal according to a voltage level of the second detection node.

Provided is a frequency conversion mixer. The frequency conversion mixer includes a transconductance stage, a switching stage, a load stage, a current bleeding circuit, and a bias stage. The transconductance stage receives an RF signal, and outputs a current corresponding to a voltage of the RF signal. The switching stage switches the current which is outputted from the transconductance stage in response to a local oscillation signal, for frequency conversion the RF signal into an intermediate frequency (IF) signal. The load stage is connected between the switching stage and a supply voltage terminal. The current bleeding circuit is connected parallel with the switching stage, especially, embodying inverter structure with transconductance stage to get not only current bleeding effect but also current reuse effect, and one resonant inductor for reducing noise which is generated in parasitic capacitance at node between transconductance stage and switching stage. The bias stage is connected between the transconductance stage and a ground terminal, and has the switched biasing technique for allowing not only the stable bias current but also lowering the flicker noise.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a method of constructing an underground pile having an expanded bulb on a lower end or an intermediate portion thereof. In the method of the present invention, liquefied grout is charged into a hole bored in the ground, and a rapidly expanding metal compound of metal powder and a metal salt is inserted into the grout. Thereafter, the rapidly expanding metal compound is exploded in the grout before the grout is cured, so that a portion of the hole is widened and the grout is charged into the widened portion. According to the present invention, the expanded bulb which protrudes outwards can be easily formed at a predetermined position of the underground pile and, simultaneously, the soil around the pile can be hardened. Furthermore, the construction period and construction cost of the pile having the expanded bulbs are markedly reduced. As well, the underground pipe having the expanded bulb according to the present invention can exhibit superior supporting force despite having reduced length and diameter compared to the straight pile. Therefore, the present invention makes it possible to provide superior ground reinforcing ability despite using a reduced number of piles compared to the conventional art.
Abstract:
A multi-stage propeller assembly including a barrel having a cylindrical actuation part and a tapered nozzle part, with the tapered nozzle part integrally extending from the cylindrical actuation part while being reduced in its diameter in a direction from one end around the actuation part to the other end. A drive engine for propellers is installed within the tapered nozzle part, with the drive shaft of the engine axially extending within the actuation part. A plurality of propellers are regularly set along the drive shaft to form the multi-stage propeller assembly. A plurality of fixed radial blade units are regularly set between the propellers.

An embodiment for low power-consumption RC oscillator is disclosed. A voltage transforming unit transforms a power supply voltage to an internal voltage. A current mirroring unit is coupled to the voltage transforming unit and receives the internal voltage to provide constant two current outputs with different phases. A current charging/discharging unit includes first and second nodes to receive the two constant current outputs of the current mirroring unit, wherein first and second capacitors are coupled to the first and second nodes, respectively. The first and second capacitors are charged by the two constant current outputs. A voltage sensing and outputting unit is coupled to the first and second nodes, senses voltage levels of the first and second nodes and outputs clock signals when one of the sensed voltage levels is greater than a logic threshold. A pulse generating unit generates pulse signals in response to the clock signals. The current charging/discharging unit further includes a connection switch to electrically connect the first and second nodes in response to the pulse signals.
