A portable electronic device includes a housing, a substrate, a radiation conductor and a short circuit conductor. The housing defines an accommodating space and includes a frame that has a body portion and a radiation portion. The substrate is disposed in the accommodating space, is surrounded by the frame, and has a grounding portion. The radiation conductor is disposed in the accommodating space, is electrically coupled to the radiation portion, and includes a feed-in point. The short circuit conductor is electrically coupled between one end of the radiation portion and the grounding portion.

A connecting structure for connecting a pipe-shaped element including a base and at least a lock element is provided. The base includes a first clamper, a second clamper and a spacer. The first clamper and the second clamper are connected together on one side while a gap is maintained between the first clamper and the second clamper on the other side to form a groove that connects with the spacer. One end of the pipe-shaped element is disposed inside the spacer. The first clamper has at least a lock hole and the second clamper has at least a corresponding second lock hole. The pipe-shaped element disposed inside the spacer is tightly assembled to the base by the lock element through the first lock hole and the second lock hole. Furthermore, a connecting method for connecting the pipe-shaped element is also provided.

A structure for playing MIDI messages including a main-control element, a buffer memory, a MIDI synthesizer, and a pre-processor is provided. The main-control element receives tone colors and the MIDI messages, and loads at least part of the tone colors to the buffer memory. The main-control element transmits the MIDI messages to the pre-processor. The pre-processor coupled to the main-control element and the buffer memory, is used for analyzing the MIDI messages. In addition, the pre-processor dynamically determines at least part of the tone colors to be saved in the buffer memory based on the capacity of the buffer memory.

A multi-view 3D video conference device is provided. The multi-view 3D video conference device is mainly used on a personal computer (PC), and utilizes a multi-view image pickup device, a 2D and 3D touch screen, and a technology of a multi-view image compression and synthesis procedure to achieve multi-view 3D video conferences through transmission functions of conventional local area network (LAN) and the Internet.

A set of network devices having varying device attributes, such as varying attributes due to different operating system versions, different hardware versions, or different hardware platforms, may be efficiently managed. A syntax file may be used to describe constraints relating to attributes of multiple versions of the network devices. At least one device configuration file (DCF) stores version-based differences relating to the different versions of the network devices, the syntax file and at least one the one DCF collectively describe a set of constraints for the attributes of the network devices.

An anti-seismic device is adapted to absorb the vibration energy of a structure, and comprises a plurality of vibration-reducing units, each of which includes a mass, a hydraulic cylinder, and a resilient element. The hydraulic cylinder has an outer end that is connected fixedly to the structure, and an inner end that is connected fixedly to the mass. The resilient element has an outer end that is connected to the structure, and an inner end that is connected to the mass. When the structure is subjected to vibration, the masses can move reciprocally relative to the structure at different vibration frequencies. The hydraulic cylinders are arranged substantially in parallel.
