摘要: A radio receiver apparatus includes a serving cell detector configured to generate a detected serving cell signal based on a serving cell detector input signal. The radio receiver apparatus further includes a first interfering cell detector configured to generate a detected first interfering cell signal based on a first interfering cell detector input signal and a first interfering cell synthesizer configured to generate synthesized first interfering cell signal based on the detected first interfering cell signal. A serving cell interference removing unit is configured to remove the synthesized first interfering cell signal from a serving cell signal to generate the serving cell detector input signal.

摘要: A system and method for dynamic receive diversity allocation. A communications device comprises a first physical layer (PHY) unit, a second PHY unit, a first signal path coupled to a first antenna and to the first PHY unit, a switchable signal path coupled to a second antenna and switchably coupled to the first PHY unit and the second PHY unit, and a switch control unit coupled to the second antenna. The switch control unit dynamically generates a control signal used to switchably couple the second antenna to either the first PHY unit or the second PHY unit. The second antenna may be used to provided a needed transmit or receive antenna or an extra antenna for use in increasing diversity. Switching antennas reduces the total number of antennas and support hardware, such as digital processing hardware, for wireless communications standards having a high ratio of idle to busy time.

摘要: A computing device is disclosed, comprising a user interface and a central processing unit for launching a session on the computing device enabling the computing device to receive media data and associated data comprising information on the media data, render the media data by the user interface, provide a question related to the rendered media data based on the associated data and receive a response by the user interface for performing a quiz, receive an indication from a user that the user wants to access content related to the media data, determine content related to the media data upon reception of the indication, and access the content. A corresponding server for provision of media data, associated data, and content is also disclosed. Further, methods for the computing device and the server are disclosed.
