Abstract:
Methods of treating aquatic or marine animal water bodies including contacting the water body with one or more sulfur oxidizing bacteria such as those selected from the genus Paracoccus in an amount sufficient to control, reduce, or eliminate the H2S in the water body is disclosed. One or more sulfur oxidizing bacteria selected from the genus Paracoccus are applied to H2S contaminated environments in a predetermined amount effective in improving the yield and quality of aquatic or marine animals therein. Compositions useful for treating aquatic or marine animal water bodies are also described.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a consortium of Nitrosomonas eutropha and Nitrobacter winogradskyi, which is more effective at removing ammonia and nitrite than the commonly used consortium of Nitrosomonas europea and Nitrobacter winogradskyi, particularly in aquaculture such as shrimp ponds. Supplementation of the consortium in aquaculture such as shrimp ponds may lead to an increase in total yield, an increase in size, a decrease in Food Conversion Ratio (less food required per kg of shrimp obtained), and an increase in total per pond sales.
Abstract:
The composition of the invention comprises an aqueous mixture of an odor neutralizer component, an enhancer component for microbial activity, and a microbial component. This composition is designed to provide short- and long-term odor control effects and is environmentally friendly and economical for use.
Abstract:
The disclosure provides processes that maintain or adjust levels of ammonia and nitrite in a liquid. The processes utilize a bacterial composition capable of oxidizing ammonia and nitrite. The processes are useful in the rescue or preservation of aquatic organisms.
Abstract:
The present invention provides methods and compositions for improving permeability and flux in a membrane filtration system, especially in water or wastewater treatment processes.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to compositions and methods for increasing the health of aquatic animals comprising one or more selected bacterial strains.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to methods for preventing and/or reducing biofilm formation and/or planktonic proliferation with one or more selected bacteria strains or bacterial blends.
Abstract:
The invention discloses a Gram-positive microorganism, Bacillus megaterium, that effectively and efficiently degrades fats, oils and grease. A composition comprising said microorganism and a method for degrading fatty acids and grease are also disclosed.
