    摘要： The rear portion of a load hauling flatbed truck and the front portion of a conventional forklift vehicle are provided with structures facilitating towing of the forklift vehicle by the truck to a remote site so that the forklift vehicle is available for loading and/or unloading materials onto or from the flatbed truck. Basically, left and right rocking levers intermediately pivoted adjacent to left and right front corner portions of the forklift vehicle are hydraulically rocked so that the extending front portions of the rocking members engage about engagement structures secured adjacent to the left and right rear corners of the truck and thereby effect a lifting of the entire front portion of the forklift vehicle when the rocking members are rocked downwardly. Appropriate locking pins are inserted to secure the rocking members to the rear corner portions of the towing truck. The entire front wheels of the forklift vehicle are raised free of the ground so that towing operations result in only the rear wheels engaging the ground. The longitudinal fore and aft axes of the vehicle and truck remain in the same plane during towing operations.

The indicator provides a visual gage dimension that assists in the determination of when the brake linings should be replaced. This determination can be made in a very short period of time without requiring a physical measurement of the thickness of the brake lining on each brake shoe.

    摘要： Temperature stable crystalline mono-hydrochloric and sulfuric acid addition salts of 7-amino-3-(1-methylpyrrolidinio)methyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylate substantially free of .DELTA..sup.2 isomer are intermediates for the preparation of broad spectrum 7-[.alpha.-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-.alpha.-(Z)-methoxyiminoacetamido]-3-[(1-methyl-1-pyrrolidinio)methyl]-3-cephem-4-carboxylates. The monohydrochloric acid addition salt intermediate is prepared by a process comprising the steps of (1) neutralizing diphenylmethyl 7-amino-3-chloromethyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylate hydrochloride, (2) reacting the resulting free base with benzaldehyde to produce diphenylmethyl 7-benzylideneamino-3-chloromethyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylate, (3) reacting the resulting product with sodium iodide to convert the chloromethyl group to iodomethyl, (4) reacting the resulting product with N-methylpyrrolidine to give the quaternized product diphenylmethyl 7-benzylideneamino-3-(1-methylpyrrolidinio)methyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylate iodide, and (5) reacting with hydrochloric acid to form said intermediate.

    摘要： An improved camshaft sealing arrangement includes seals at each end of the camshaft housing. In addition, seals and washers are positioned between the camshaft and the slack adjuster connection. The combined seals provide a camshaft that is less likely to require maintenance than prior art camshafts. The seal adjacent the cam contacts an outer periphery of the camshaft housing. This seal also provides a thrust bearing washer surface against the camshaft. The seals between the camshaft and the slack adjuster include washers to properly secure and position the seals, the camshaft and the slack adjuster.
