Abstract:
Methods, systems, and apparatus for detecting subscriber input via a wireless communication device for initiating network provisioning of the wireless communication device are presented herein. A method can include receiving, via an interface of a wireless communication device, a first input from a subscriber of a wireless service associated with the wireless communication device; sending, by the wireless communication device based on the first input from the subscriber, a request for provisioning the wireless communication device via a wireless network associated with the wireless service; and outputting, via the interface of the wireless communication device, a first message including a condition for the provisioning the wireless communication device via the wireless network based on the request. In an example, the method can further include receiving, based on the request, the condition from a component of the wireless network.
Abstract:
A coating composition comprising an effective corrosion-inhibiting amount of a carbon pigment is provided. In one embodiment, the corrosion-inhibiting carbon pigment is further comprising other components such as extenders, including neutral to slightly acidic generating extenders and acidic generating extenders, are earth compounds, amino acids and amino acid derivatives, gelatin and gelatin derivatives, organic-based exchange resins, and combinations thereof, to enhance the corrosion resistance of the resultant coating film. In one embodiment, the carbon pigment is a surface-modified carbon pigment. The coating compositions have good adhesion to substrates such as metals, including aluminum and aluminum alloys.
Abstract:
Corrosion-inhibiting coating compositions which are self-priming topcoats having improved weatherability and durability are provided. The compositions contain fluorinated resins (binders), incorporate one or more corrosion-inhibiting compounds including corrosion-inhibiting extenders (a metal cation from Group I A or II A of the periodic table of the elements and an oxyanion counterion), corrosion-inhibiting rare earth compounds, and corrosion-inhibiting carbon pigments. Methods for applying the corrosion-inhibiting compositions to a substrate are also provided.
Abstract:
A conversion coating composition for coating a metal substrate is provided which imparts corrosion resistance to the underlying metal substrate. The conversion coating composition comprises an aqueous carrier and first and second rare earth element salts. A complete coating system employing the conversion coating composition is also provided as well as methods for conversion coating a metal substrate with the rare earth element conversion coating compositions of the present invention.
Abstract:
A coating composition comprising an effective corrosion-inhibiting amount of a rare earth compound, a neutral to slightly acidic generating extender or an acidic generating extender, or combinations thereof is provided. In one embodiment, the corrosion-inhibiting components are combined with other components such as extenders, amino acids and amino acid derivatives, gelatin and gelatin derivatives, organic-based exchange resins, and combinations thereof, to enhance the corrosion resistance of the resultant coating film. The coating compositions have good adhesion to substrates such as metals, including aluminum and aluminum alloys.
Abstract:
The present invention comprises a system and method for dynamically scheduling patient medical facility appointments. The present invention is capable of contacting patients to ensure that each patient will be present for the appointment and is capable of dynamically adjusting the schedule in the event the patient plans to be late or plans to cancel the appointment. The present invention is also capable of contacting patients to reschedule appointments in the event that their medical service provider unexpectedly becomes unavailable. The system's scheduling method has the effect of increasing medical facility efficiency and standardizing medical facility wait time for the patients and thereby increasing profitability and increasing patient convenience.
Abstract:
A motor coach is provided as well as a method of manufacturing a luxury motor coach conversion from a semi tractor, for example, a class 8 sleeper. The motor coach utilizes the sleeper portion of the original truck body and includes a rear body portion that is mounted to a frame of the tractor rearwardly of the sleeper portion. In an embodiment, the motor coach is manufactured by removing a significant portion of a rear panel of the sleeper portion, mounting the rear body against the sleeper, and securing a flange over a seam between the rear body and the sleeper. In an embodiment, the motor coach has multiple occupiable levels including an elevated level and a lower level which has a sunken floor that is vertically lower than the truck frame. Optionally, the motor coach includes a garage having a tiltable floor that supports an auxiliary vehicle during travel and pivots to slope downwardly for loading and unloading the auxiliary vehicle.
Abstract:
A method of treating a woven fabric, this method including applying simultaneous and progressive heat and pressure to the fabric in such a manner that the yarn strands substantially across the width of the fabric are forced closer together thus imparting generally semi-permanent ease or stretch into the fabric, which is characterized and the method also includes affixing to the fabrics treated a selected interlining or interlining combination having inherent stretch whereby the semi-permanent ease or stretch imparted to the fabric is made substantially permanent is provided. Also provided is a fabric treatment apparatus having a heat applicator and pressure to a woven fabric and a transporter for affecting relative movement between the heat and pressure applicator and a fabric whereby passage of the fabric through the apparatus results in the yarn strands substantially across the width of the fabric being forced closer together thus imparting semi-permanent ease or stretch into the fabric, characterized and that the apparatus also includes means for affixing to the treated fabric an interlining and/or interlining combination having inherent stretch whereby the semi-permanent ease or stretch imparted to the fabric is made substantially permanent.
Abstract:
A process for enhancing the corrosion resistance of an aluminum-containing component with a cerium based coating. An aluminum-containing cathode and an oxygen-evolving anode are immersed in an electrolyte comprising water, solvent, oxidizing agent and cerium ions. An electrical current is passed through the electrolyte by applying electrical current to deposit a cerium based coating onto the cathode. An electrolyte for use in depositing a cerium based coating. An electrodeposited cerium-based coating. An aluminum aircraft structural component having a cerium-based coating thereon.
