Abstract:
A device for administering an injectable product, including a housing, a displaceably mounted product container accommodated by the housing, a plunger in the container so that it can be displaced in a forward-drive direction in order to dispense the product, a plunger rod acting on the plunger in the forward-drive direction and having a releasable retained position, and a spring acting on the plunger rod in the forward-drive direction, the plunger rod releasably held in the retained position in a retaining engagement against the force of the spring, wherein the spring projects into the container in the retained position.
Abstract:
An injection appliance including a housing, a product container received by the housing and containing a product, a piston received in the housing in such a way that it can be displaced in a forward direction to dispense the product, a piston rod which acts on the piston in the forward direction, and a spring which acts on the piston rod in the forward direction, wherein, in one embodiment, the spring includes at least two adjacent spring sections each having a different buckling resistance in relation to the same length when the piston rod is a forward position and, in another embodiment, the appliance includes a spring guiding structure that is entrained or in use during a forward movement of the piston rod and secures the spring against buckling, wherein, when the piston rod is in the forward position, the guiding structure extends past an end of the rod.
Abstract:
An injection device for use with a two-chamber ampoule, wherein the device includes a front casing part with which the two-chamber ampoule can be associated, a rear casing part, a threaded drive accommodated by the rear casing part, a piston rod which, during a blending movement, is moved by the threaded drive toward a dispensing end of the device and slaves at least a closing piston of the two-chamber ampoule in the process, wherein a spring element presses the piston rod toward the dispensing end during a delivery movement.
Abstract:
A device for administering an injectable product including an insertion mechanism for inserting an injection needle into a tissue, the insertion mechanism including a first pressure element, a delivery mechanism for delivering the product from a product container, the delivery mechanism including a second pressure element, and a trigger for triggering the insertion and delivery mechanisms, wherein, when triggered, the insertion mechanism is moved by the first pressure element in an insertion direction from an initial position to an insertion position and the delivery mechanism remains at rest relative to the insertion mechanism until the insertion position is reached.
Abstract:
A device for administering an injectable product including a casing, an injection mechanism including an injection needle pointing in an insertion direction, and a protective cap for the injection needle wherein, in one embodiment, the administering device includes a removing device for removing the protective cap from the injection needle and, in another embodiment, the administering device includes a needle protecting sleeve shiftable generally in alignment with the casing and generally between a front position, advanced relative to the casing, for protecting the injection needle and to a rear position, retracted relative to the casing, for inserting the injection needle into a tissue. In one embodiment, the needle protecting sleeve is prevented from moving completely into the rear position by a lock when the protective cap is protecting the injection needle.
Abstract:
A device for administering an injectable product including a housing, a viewing element formed on or in the housing to create a view area, an emptying display movable inside and/or relative to the housing at least partially in or through the view area, and a view release member movable relative to the housing, wherein the visiability of the emptying display can be changed, reduced or eliminated by moving the view release member.
Abstract:
An administering apparatus for administering an injectable substance in doses is provided. The apparatus includes a casing with a reservoir for the substance, a conveying mechanism which acts to deliver a selected dose of the substance from the reservoir, a dosing and activating mechanism which performs a dosing movement and a delivery movement, and which is coupled to the conveying mechanism such that the delivery movement causes the selected dose to be delivered, a dosage indicator sleeve coupled to the dosing and activating mechanism, and a blocking member in a blocking engagement with the dosing and activating mechanism.
Abstract:
An injection device, e.g. an automatic injector, including a switching element that can be displaced along a longitudinal axis of the injection device from a starting position to a release position via a coupling position, and a triggering element that can be displaced transversely to the longitudinal axis, wherein the switching element includes a control surface element and the triggering element slides along the control surface element at least during the movement of the switching element from the starting position to the coupling position.
Abstract:
A device for the controlled delivery of an injectable liquid from a liquid container, wherein a flexible force transferor transfers the drive force of a drive wheel onto a piston which can be slid axially in the device, a permanently acting restoring force of a spiral spring is applied to the drive wheel to advance the piston and expel the liquid, and a lock locks the drive wheel against rotation and releases the drive wheel to expel the liquid. In one embodiment, the amount of liquid expelled can be indicated by audible clicks and, in one embodiment, the drive wheel moves only incrementally when the lock releases the drive wheel.
