The present invention provides a deoxidizing multilayered body, which sufficiently suppresses the production of odorous organic components produced by oxidation, and which absorbs oxygen at a fast rate. The present invention relates to the deoxidizing multilayered body that is constituted by laminating at least an isolation layer (A) that contains a thermoplastic resin, an oxygen absorption layer (B) which is made of an oxygen absorbent resin composition (b) that contains an oxidizable thermoplastic resin and a transition metal catalyst, an odor absorption layer (C) which is made of an odor absorbent resin composition (c) that contains a thermoplastic resin and an odor absorbent, and an oxygen barrier layer (D) which contains an oxygen barrier substance, in this order.
Abstract:
Dialkylnaphthalene is oxidized to naphthalenedicarboxylic acid in a lower aliphatic carboxylic acid solvent in the presence of a catalyst comprising a cobalt compound, a manganese compound and a bromine compound having an atomic ratio of manganese to cobalt of 0.03 to 0.5. The catalyst is supplied to the oxidation reaction zone so that the total amount of cobalt and manganese is 0.025 to 0.1 gram atom based on 1 gram mol of the dialkylnaphthalene. An oxidation product slurry is subjected to solid-liquid separation when the concentration of the naphthalenedicarboxylic acid in the slurry is 8 to 30% by weight. The process prevents the by-production of benzotricarboxylic acid such as trimellitic acid, thereby drastically reducing the incorporation of heavy metal complexes with trimellitic acid into naphthalenedicarboxylic acid crystals. The process optionally includes the addition of a polymer flocculant, this forming crystal aggregates with a large particle size and facilitating the separation of the crystals from the mother liquor.

The present invention is an oxygen-absorbing resin composition comprising an initiator, a transition metal catalyst, and an oxidizable resin, wherein the oxygen-absorbing resin composition initiates oxygen absorption by irradiation of an ultraviolet ray having a peak wavelength within the range of 300 to 400 nm.

An oxygen absorbent molding or a gas absorbent molding is provided. The oxygen absorbent molding is made of oxygen absorbent powder and a binder, and is characterized in that the binder is a fibrous resin. Fluororesin can be used as the fibrous resin. This oxygen absorbent molding has excellent oxygen-absorbing capability and mechanical strength and is suited for extending the life of an organic electroluminescent element.
