摘要: The natural gas is successively contacted in column CA with a relatively methanol-rich solvent flowing in through line 4, then with a relatively poor solvent flowing in through line 9. The acid gas-containing solvent recovered through line 3 at the bottom of column CA is expanded through valves V1 and V2 to release acid gases through line 6. A fraction of the expanded solvent is distilled in column CR. The regenerated solvent obtained at the bottom of column CR is sent to the top of column CA through line 9. A second fraction of the expanded solvent is mixed with a solvent drawn off from column CR at an intermediate point between the bottom and the top of this column. This mixture of solvents is sent through line 4 into column CA.

摘要: In a process for treating a gas containing acid gases, the gas is contacted with a methanol-containing aqueous phase and is then contacted in an absorption column with a mixture of solvents including mehtanol, water and a solvent heavier than methanol. Then, the mixture of solvents is at least partly regenerated through pressure reduction and/or heating. The treated gas is cooled by producing at least a methanol-containing aqueous phase that is at least partly recycled. The mixture of solvents flowing out at the bottom of the absorption column is cooled, then re-introduced at a higher level of the absorption column so as to control the temperature in the absorption column.

摘要: A connecting dropper provides a mechanical articulated and electrical linkage between a carrying cable and a conductor, particularly a contact wire of an overhead electrical traction line. The dropper wire provides a continuous electrical connection between the carrying cable and the contact wire. The dropper wire (14) is connected to respective connecting clips (18,18') providing the connection to the carrying cable (10) and the contact wire (12) via sleeves (20,20';32,32') in which the ends of the dropper wire are pinched, and the connecting clips (18,18') consist of two detachable parts that are snapped together to grip the carrying cable (10) and the contact wire (12) respectively.

摘要: The method allows to remove mercaptans contained in a gaseous feed comprising hydrocarbons by carrying out the following stages: a) contacting, in a reactor R1, gaseous feed 1 with a liquid stream 13 comprising olefins, in the presence of a first acid catalyst so that the mercaptans react with the olefins so as to form sulfides, b) discharging an effluent 3 from reactor R1 and separating the effluent into a gas phase and a liquid phase so as to obtain a mercaptan-depleted treated gas 4 and a sulfide-laden liquid, c) separating the sulfide-laden liquid into a first fraction 6 and a second fraction 5, the volume flow rate of first fraction 6 being at least three times higher than the volume flow rate of second fraction 5, d) recycling first fraction 6 to stage a) as a first portion of said liquid stream to be fed into said reactor R1, e) regenerating second fraction 5 by cracking so as to obtain a sulfide-depleted second fraction 2 that is recycled to stage a) as a second portion of said liquid stream.

摘要: The carbon dioxide contained in combustion fumes is absorbed by an aqueous amine solution in section B1. The decarbonated fumes are then washed with water in wash section B3. In order to prevent the discharge of amine degradation products with the decarbonated fumes, operation of the method is monitored and a fumes acid wash section U is used when required by the operating conditions of the carbon dioxide capture method.
