摘要： Disclosed herein is a refrigerator which performs a light emitting operation in connection with opening and closing of doors and a home bar door. The refrigerator includes a front glass, a light guide member disposed on a rear surface of the front glass, a light emitting device disposed at the outside of the light guide member to generate light toward the light guide member, scattering members provided within the light guide member to scatter the light of the light emitting device transmitted through the light guide member, and transmitting parts provided on the front glass corresponding to the scattering members to transmit the light of the scattering members toward the front surface of each door, and the light emitting device emits light in connection with opened and closed states of the doors.

摘要： The present invention relates to an icemaker in which an ice cube tray is twisted by rotation of an actuator to easily and effectively release ice from the ice cube tray.The icemaker comprising an ice cube tray formed with cube compartments; an actuator rotating the ice cube tray; and a stopper coming into contact with the ice cube tray being rotated and allowing the ice cube tray to be twisted, the cube compartments being diagonally arranged with respect to a lengthwise direction of the ice cube tray. With this configuration, the present invention provides an icemaker in which an ice is easily released from an ice cube tray and minimally cracked or broken while being released.

摘要： The present invention relates to an icemaker in which an ice cube tray is twisted by rotation of an actuator to easily and effectively release ice from the ice cube tray. Thus, according to the present invention, the cooling air is supplied from the edge of the rear of the refrigerating compartment, thereby providing the duct of a simple structure and facilitating a refrigerating efficiency.

The coolant tube accommodation parts of each cooling fin are coupled to the first horizontal part and the second horizontal part, and inclined at an inclination angle to the vertical direction.

摘要： A refrigerator with a multipurpose storage chamber and a control method. In the refrigerator, the flow of cool air to the multipurpose storage chamber is selectively controlled in accordance with a variety of operational modes. In order to accomplish such a cool air flow control, a refrigerating compartment fan and a damper are provided at positions above a refrigerating compartment evaporator. In addition, a flap, controlled at an open angle thereof, is provided at the inlet of an air guide path guiding the cool air to the multipurpose storage chamber. The multipurpose storage chamber of this refrigerator can thus effectively be used to store a variety of foods in accordance with storage characteristics of the foods. In addition, a thawing mode operation of the refrigerator is performed under the condition that it is not necessary to perform a refrigerating compartment cooling operation. It is thus possible to prevent an excessive increase in the temperature of the refrigerating compartment caused by an operation of the defrosting heater during such a thawing mode.

The cool air exhaling apparatus in an enforced circulation type refrigerator in which a cool air cooled by an evaporator is guided to a duct by operating a cool air circulating fan and is exhaled into the refrigerator through a cool air exhaling hollow formed in a duct cover, includes at least one cool air guide formed protrusively at the front of a duct cover in a width direction of the refrigerator, having a cool air exhaling hollow in its inner sidewall, and a duct thermal insulation material in which a cool air guide hollow having a convex curved side portion connected to the inner sidewall of the cool air guide is formed in sides of the duct cover. The cool air flows desirably along the cool air guide hollow without any separation and goes down in the vertical direction at the front of the shelf so as to form an air curtain. Thus, the cool air rarely flows outside even if the door is open, when operating the cool air circulating fan.
