摘要: Disclosed is a self-contained mesh radio extension unit, comprising a receiving sleeve having an open volume and a first data connector for communicative coupling to a communication device or cellular phone inserted in the open volume. A low-gain internal antenna and a high-gain external antenna are coupled to a digital data link (DDL) with a first DDL operating frequency. The DDL provides bidirectional internet protocol (IP) connectivity between the first data connector and a peer-to-peer meshed communication network, controlling one or more of the antennae as transceivers at the first DDL operating frequency. An integrated power supply system powers the DDL and includes a rechargeable internal battery and an external power interface. A control system automatically routes IP packets received or transmitted by the DDL and includes a network address translation (NAT) router and an IP addressing service for assigning and tracking IP addresses across the peer-to-peer meshed communication network.

The wireless communication station further includes first and second radio frequency (RF) front end modules removably attached to the baseband radio and operable in first and second frequency bands, respectively, and configured to receive the first and second digital transmission data, convert the first and second digital transmission data to first and second RF transmission data, and transmit the first and second RF transmission data. The edge server, the baseband radio, and the first and second RF front end modules are provided in the housing, and the first and second frequency bands are different.

摘要: Disclosed are systems and methods for a robotic mobile perimeter and telecommunication network. One or more stationary ground units are associated with a perimeter protected entity and comprise a broadband cellular network core for providing a private telecommunication network, and secondary transceivers for providing a second telecommunication network. Mobile robotic units comprise a broadband cellular network node for extending the private telecommunication network, secondary transceivers, a plurality of sensors, a locomotion device, and a controller. The mobile robotic units simultaneously create a dynamically responsive perimeter around the perimeter protected entity and a movable extension of the private telecommunication network, wherein the controllers generate locomotion control signals to cause least a portion of the plurality of mobile robotic units to reposition themselves within the surrounding environment and provide continuous coverage from the private telecommunication network to the perimeter protected entity as one or more locations of the perimeter protected entity change.
