The latching device includes at least a bolt which is carried on the latching device and is operatively associated with the panel to prevent disengagement of the panel.     摘要: A sliding hinge for mounting a nose cone or cover on a nacelle or housing, such as an equipment package suspended from the wing of an aircraft. Typically two hinges are used, positioned at opposite sides of the housing, for pivoting the nose cone upward to provide access to the equipment within the housing. Each hinge includes a sleeve mounted in the housing, a slide block sliding in the sleeve, and a slide arm pivotally attached to the slide block and mounted in the nose. To open the package, the nose is initially slid forward from the housing and then pivoted to an upward position. During this operation the slide arm slides out of the sleeve from a retracted position to an extended position and then pivots upward to the open position, with the slide block remaining in the sleeve. A locking mechanism is provided for locking the slide block in the sleeve in the extended position so that the nose cover has to be pivoted downward to the horizontal position in alignment with the housing before the arm and nose can be moved toward the housing to the retracted position.

    摘要: A latch mechanism having a mounting bracket, a body portion, and a flange portion. The latch mechanism is used for connecting a first and second members. The body portion has walls extending from a flange portion defining a chamber therein. A detent mechanism is positioned in the chamber. A bolt, movably carried on the latch mechanism, has connected front and rear bolt portions and may include a spring biased ball for engaging a recess on the rear bolt in the latched position. A receptacle is defined in the mounting bracket. A head portion of the rear bolt is positioned relative to the receptacle in the latched position. A portion of the rear bolt travels through the receptacle when unlatching and engages the detent mechanism in the latched position. A gasket provided between the head and the receptacle seals the head in the receptacle in the latched position.

    摘要: Disclosed is a blowout latch for releasably securing an aircraft panel to an aircraft structure. The blowout latch includes a housing, a bolt, and a handle. The housing includes a bias section that has a plate, a block adjacent the plate, at least one coil spring having opposing ends, a roller mount, and a roller pin. The roller mount has a roller mount base. One end of the coil spring contacts the roller mount base. The opposing end of the coil spring contacts the block. The roller pin is rotatably mounted to the roller mount. The bolt is rotatably mounted to the housing and is used to engage the aircraft structure. The bolt has a secured position. The bolt is held in its secured position by the coil spring which biases the roller pin against the bolt. The handle is rotatably mounted to the bolt and is moveable between a latched position and an unlatched position, without the use of a tool. The handle provides an indicator when the blowout latch is in an open position.

    摘要: A blowout latch is provided to latch a first panel to a second panel. The latch is coupled to the first panel and engaged with the second panel. The latch includes a biasing mechanism which is disengagable under pressure to move the first panel relative to the second panel. The latch may also be selectively disengaged with a lesser force than that required to overcome the biasing mechanism by bypassing the biasing mechanism. When manually disengaged, the latch maintains a biasing load on a bolt of the latch. A trigger of the latch is provided to bypass the biasing mechanism and disengage a roller assembly of the latch from the second panel.
