    摘要： A pressure relief door (PRD) assembly is provided and includes a PRD frame, a PRD hinge-coupled to the PRD frame, a latch element configured to normally remain in a latched condition to maintain the PRD in a closed condition relative to the PRD frame and to assume an unlatched condition to permit the PRD to assume an open condition relative to the PRD frame in accordance with an occurrence of a burst duct event within the PRD frame and a retention element. The retention element is configured to automatically activate responsive to the PRD opening. The retention element includes an end disposable between the PRD and the PRD frame with the retention element automatically activated to provide positive interference directed to maintain the PRD in the open condition.

    摘要： Explosion vent apparatus is provided, which includes a vent support unit defining a vent opening adapted to be aligned with an area to be protected from an overpressure condition, a vent panel movably mounted on the support unit in a normal closed position blocking the outlet and movable through a first displacement away from its closed position to a first overpressure-relieving position upon application of an overpressure of one magnitude of pressure while allowing movement of the vent panel through a second and greater displacement to a second overpressure-relieving position upon application of a higher overpressure. The vent panel does not deform or rupture upon opening, and recloses after pressure relief, either under spring pressure when opened under a lower first pressure, or by a fluid actuated reclosing mechanism upon full opening of the vent panel under a higher second pressure.

    摘要： A latch mechanism having a mounting bracket, a body portion, and a flange portion. The latch mechanism is used for connecting a first and second members. The body portion has walls extending from a flange portion defining a chamber therein. A detent mechanism is positioned in the chamber. A bolt, movably carried on the latch mechanism, has connected front and rear bolt portions and may include a spring biased ball for engaging a recess on the rear bolt in the latched position. A receptacle is defined in the mounting bracket. A head portion of the rear bolt is positioned relative to the receptacle in the latched position. A portion of the rear bolt travels through the receptacle when unlatching and engages the detent mechanism in the latched position. A gasket provided between the head and the receptacle seals the head in the receptacle in the latched position.
