摘要： There is provided a medicament dispenser for containing plural elongate form medicament carriers, each having multiple distinct medicament dose portions carried thereby, the dispenser having a housing of generally non-circular form, and within said housing a dispensing mechanism for dispensing the distinct medicament dose portions carried by each of said plural medicament carriers. The mechanism comprises at least one receiving station for receiving each of the plural medicament carriers; a release for releasing in combination a distinct medicament dose portion from each of the plural medicament carriers on receipt thereof by said receiving station; an outlet, positioned to be in communication with the distinct medicament dose portions releasable by said release; and at least one indexer for individually indexing the distinct medicament dose portions of each of the plural medicament carriers. The dispenser contains plural elongate form medicament carriers, each having multiple distinct dose portions carried thereby. At least one of said medicament carriers has the form of a continuous loop.

摘要： There is provided a medicament dispenser for use with a medicament carrier (101) having a plurality of pockets for containing medicament wherein said pockets are spaced along the length of and defined between lid (113) and base sheets (111) peelably secured to each other, said dispenser having an internal mechanism for accessing said medicament contained within said medicament carrier. Peeling apart of the two sheets is achieved by drivable motion of a lid sheet drive wheel (218). There is also provided compensation means (222, 322, 522) to compensate for an increase in the diameter of the effective winding surface of the drive wheel (218) during use of the dispenser and thereby to ensure that said medicament carrier is uniformly indexed upon each actuation thereof.

摘要： A wheelchair which facilitates the storage of retractable leg rests within its side frames. These leg rest are independently able to be in the “stored” or “use” positions and continue to allow the wheelchair frame to be folded. The leg rest members are telescopically mounted to each other and allow for leg length adjustment on this telescopic slide. This leg rest assembly has angle adjustability to suit multiple angles of the occupant's knees for comfort.
