The housing is provided with at least one recess (14, 15), in which at least one projection connected to the slide can be positioned for at least locking the slide in position in the housing. The projection can be moved out of the recess against spring force, after which the slide can be moved in the sliding direction in the housing. The flange-shaped upper edge comprises two parts that extend parallel to the sliding direction, wherein each part is provided with at least one hook-shaped element (27, 327), while the housing comprises two side walls (5, 6), wherein each side wall is provided with at least one recess, wherein a recess and a hook-shaped element located at a first side wall are staggered, seen in the sliding direction, relative to a recess and a hook-shaped element located at a second side wall. The hook-shaped elements of the flange-shaped upper edge can be moved out of the recesses against the spring force of the flange-shaped upper edge.

摘要： A pocket sized dispenser houses in coiled form a flexible strip of portions of smokeless tobacco sized for placement between a consumer's cheek and gum, where the flexible strip includes a base tape removably attached to the plurality of portions, and wherein the dispenser and strip are adapted to allow a consumer to separate individual portions from the base tape. The individual portions comprise either a collection of tobacco particles at least partially enclosed by a coating comprising a water-soluble non-crosslinked component and a substantially water-insoluble cross-linked component; or pouches attached to the base tape with a food-grade adhesive, the pouches comprising smokeless tobacco enclosed in a water-permeable wrapper with at least one lap-sealed edge. Methods of preparing such are disclosed.

摘要： A medical dispenser for storing and dispensing electrodes includes a housing having a front member and a back member, at least one electrode strip disposed between the front member and the back member of the housing and an actuator mounted to the front member of the housing and adapted to engage the at least one electrode strip. The electrode strip includes a strip member and a plurality of electrodes mounted to the strip member. The actuator is movable relative to the front member such that movement of the actuator results in corresponding movement of the at least one electrode strip to dispense an electrode from the housing. The actuator may be adapted to engage an electrode of the at least one electrode strip. In one embodiment, the actuator is adapted to engage a male terminal of the electrode.

摘要： An apparatus is provided for delivering single-dose packages sequentially from a substantially continuous strip having a first dispensing end and a second end. The strip includes a cover layer attached to a base layer to define a plurality of blisters therebetween that have one or more medications therein. The blisters are aligned in single file generally along the longitudinal axis between the first and second ends and/or otherwise arranged in single-dose packages adjacent one another, e.g., at least some of the single-dose packages including a plurality of blisters having different types of medications therein. A first single-dose package at the first dispensing end may be separable from a second adjacent single-dose package such that individual single-dose packages may be removed successively from the first dispensing end.

In some embodiments the panels (16, 24) include apertures (64, 92) that catch or otherwise engage a feature of a packet, such as a blister, to further impede removal of each packet (124). To further impede removal of a packet (124), access notches (56, 256, 290) that allow the user to grasp the packet are narrowly constructed.

摘要： A child-proof dispenser includes a container (11) having an inner shell (15) covered by an outer shell section (18) to form an inner compartment (12) enclosing a coiled strip of blister-packaged drugs (13) or the like. The inner and outer shells are releasably interlocked together by central hub portions (31, 25) which support the outer shell for rotation relative to the inner shell. The outer shell is rotated away from a stop (46, 47) and against the action of a compression spring (48) to aline inner and outer dispensing openings (42, 45) in the inner and outer shells, respectively. An ejecting trigger (55) carried by the outer shell is moved relative to both shells against the strip in a guide passage (46) to advance a selected number of doses of drugs via the dispensing openings. Upon release of the shells, the compression spring moves the outer shell to a position to cover the inner dispensing opening. A removal tool (81) releasably mounted on a top knob 71 on the outer shell and has a plunger (87) that extends into the outer shell and against the central hub portion of the inner shell to release the central hub portions to separate the shells for the insertion of a new strip of blister-packeged drugs into the inner compartment.
